As a dealer I would be well happy with you case.

Dave.

That's the thing though. I'm not a dealer, just a collector. I would be happy to take my time to pick up the autos that I got today, but over a few months. It's going to be much harder to pick up all the cards that I wanted individually. That's why I got the case.

Was I begin optimistic? Perhaps, but I honestly thought that getting one of those four autos in a single case was realistic. The other case breaks in the thread have been great, so I just got unlucky today. I'll get over it.

Hey Thush,

Although I did get a Andress in my case, I would certainly trade your duplicate box for mine. You got a 2nd Maud Adams and a Grenade Sack vs my duplicate box of Giannini auto and Zorin patch.

While you did not break the bank on a single card, your case was, IMO, far from a bust.

Thanks for the offer, igman. I'll pass for now (already have a Zorin patch Smile). I will update my trading list later with some of my spares.

Well Thush your special box was 2650 with the Chip and Alan Cumming auto which definitely are in the expensive rarer ones to source on eBay

and you are still more than halfway on the relics and autos so although you are disappointed it really is a not a bad start with Cumming, Dench and Rhys-Davies in there

Hi guys/girls

This is one of my first ever forum posts so if I come across a bit thick bear with me please. I have just ordered a single box of the complete bond (not rich enough to get a case). I hear many people are having difficulty making a base set with a single box, If I am short cards to make a base will anyone help me out whether trade or purchase I live in the UK by the way?

Nice case break Dis68.

Most cases that I have seen received doubles on the grenade sack. I had a regular and a red variant and my buddy received a red variant and a green one with the metal ring. I ended up having 3 duplicate relics (also had 2 Jinx med file and 2 Zorin patches) and 2 Giannini autos. Did I miss something, or did you not get an auto in box 2669?

James007, welcome in! The closest I got to making a set from a single box in my case was 2 cards. The one thing to remember is that the poster cards are the 5th card in each set.

Hi James. I'd be happy to send whichever base cards you are missing.

Cool pulls. Is RC5 the circus programme? If it is I'm jealous, that has to be my favourite relic card of the set. Which part did you get? Thumb Up

i need a bit of advice regarding this set so i thought i would ask you kind and wise folk lol i've always considered myself as a completionist although i have never finished a set yet Roll Eyes so as fellow collectors would you go after all the variations of the relic cards to make it feel like you have a complete set or would you just go with 1 of each?

cheers guys Thumb Up

Definitely just one of each ( just think of the different colours and left/right halves of each chip card and then multiply by ££££ ) UNLESS there is a particular card design you like e.g. trying to get all three of a tarot card or making a recognizable chunk of the Octopussy circus programme

i was thinkin of goin for the 3 or 4 diffrent bomb sack colours but as far as the casion chips i'll just stick with 1 of them if i'm lucky enough to get 1 and i might go for 2 of the case toppers 1 of each variation i've seen

Hey Yeah i agree with the previous posts I completed a few sets over the years and I still only go for one of each of the auto's and costuem/pieceworks cards etc unless like you say there is something really cool in a variation and even then for a reasonable price. Still waiting for my box to arrive of this set can't wait would be nice to pull an auto that I have not got from a previous bond set (fingers crossed)
