CR Bond Villians: # BV0021 Le Chiffre *2
Quotes Casino Royale: 1,2,4 and 6
Bond Villians: F41

can't figure out the green colour came out brown.

chip colour is light green not blue. I must have something wrong with my scanner.

Anyone having issue with Scifihobby.com today. I keep getting an error when accessing that site

nice breakdown! I wanted to pull a Britt out of my case so badly.

If you decide to trade/sell the Casino Chip relic card please let me know. Have lots of autos and a couple prop relics for trade.

Well, my gf and I each bought one of these boxes today. My box was great and hers was absolutely awful.

First mine:

All the usual expected inserts
Osato Stationery relic card
Caterina Munro autograph Big Grin

Then her box:

Missing 1 Quotable insert and 1 Expansion insert Mad
Casino Royale playing card relic Thumb Up
NOOO AUTOGRAPH!!! Mad Mad Mad

You know, it is a real bummer that it happened to her as she hardly ever buys boxes anymore. We both bought our boxes mainly for the autograph.

Shoot them a message and they should take care of you. Discouraging I know in the short term, but in the end I'm guessing it'll work out just fine.

Website's back up. Occasional "routine maintenance" on weekends, I figure.

Here's the breaks on my two boxes.

Both boxes had 190 base cards, theoretically possible for a complete set of 189, but one box was 3 short of a full set and the other was 4 short.

BOX 1:
DL3 DL4 DL9
Q5 Q6
BA19 BV0041
RC10 - Fontainebleau Gin Rummy Score Sheet (VL)
A74 - George Leech as Kristatos' Henchman

BOX 2:
DL3 DL4 DL9 again
Q5 Q6 again
0066 BG47
RC1 - Jinx Cayman Island Bank Cheque
A80 - John Rhys-Davies as General Pushkin (VL)

Nice set, but I have to admit that I like base sets with card text or extra images more than I like 9-card puzzles. And collation is frustrating when the middle card of every 9-card sheet is unnumbered. Oh well, the big attraction for a lot of people is to satisfy their pent-up longing for relic cards, which appear to be a first-class selection. (Though, I can see an unending supply of casino chips on the movie screen, and would like a piece of one of the million-dollar markers!)

Here is a case my brother and I opened last night while watching the Sopranos Finale. I only have 3 of them paired together by the box they came out of as my brother was sleeving them and got them mixed together.

Box 1:
RC11 Jinx Medical File A79 -Giannini
Box 2:
RC5 Circus Program A32 -Andress
Box 3:
RC 18 Casino Royale Chip A65 - Moxen
THE REST: PROPS
rc 5 (again, different design though)
rc17 playing card, rc16 Osato Stationary
rc15 Grenade sack, rc9 Zorin (twice)
rc 6 casino chip LTK rc4 Flag
rc3 Fontainebleu Letterhead

AUTO's:
a55 adams, a57 mallet, a58 bowe, a68 cumming
a70 bliss, a71 scorupco, a73 Lewars, a74 leach
a80 Davies.

Overall we were pretty thrilled. The bad news is after sorting everything, we only have 7 sets out of 12 boxes. I don't see these base sets as being the cheap cast offs you see out of a lot of sets these days, due to the fact that the majority of single box purchases won't yield a complete set.

Quite a few damaged cards we will send back for replacement and then can finish an 8th set.

I decided to get another box, because I am loving this set...

Box 1619
Maud Adams A54
Bomb Grenade Sack Relic Frown
DL 3,7,9
Q 1,4
0064,0066

I'm happy to be almost finished with all of the chase cards (minus the 0065 card) and the Adams card, but I am still a little annoyed to get a duplicate relic. Overall, I might buy another box to test my luck, or maybe save my money for another summer set- I haven't decided yet...

Did you ever receive your replacement JL?

I've got a box coming in and will post the results when it arrives which should be this week.
