Here's a Robocop 2 card for the just departed actor and playwright Tom Noonan, who passed away last week at 74.



Most people didn't like this sequel as much as the classic original, but I enjoyed both movies about the same.

He also played Frankenstein's Monster in the 1987 fan favorite "The Monster Squad", and I do have a card of him from an SDCC giveaway set promoting a DVD release of it, but unfortunately don't have a scan of that one. More recently, he appeared in the Charlie Kaufman mindbender, "Anomalisa", and as usual, was perfectly cast.

Tom Noonan had a physical look that typecast him to certain roles and that was too bad. I always liked his acting, but his best is rarely mentioned. A film called "Manhunter" cast him as the serial killer early in his career. It was an adaption of "Red Dragon" and if you have never seen it, I would suggest you find it. It still holds up.

Great movie. Great book. I've always liked Brian Cox as Hannibal Lector more than Anthony Hopkins but I know it's debatable - a matter of different styles chosen for the character.

"Manhunter" is a Michael Mann film and Noonan later appeared in another of his widely acclaimed movies, "Heat".

John Levitt - wow, that is harsh. Who is it that you think has contempt for other users? And how are we supposed to know if a picture we post in one country is visible or not in another?

As I understand it some of the image hosting websites provide space at a cost and applying a regional limitation makes it cheaper. Obviously not all providers make a charge. I presume that that the security of what is stored by that provider is lesser on a free website than it is on one that is charging a fee. Remember that that the host is storing images which are not just of cards. If for example, you were a professional photographer you would want your images protected from plagiarism and exploitation. Note also when films and TV shows were made available electronically a country restriction was put on them. Hosting website can and clearly do provide a similar restriction. Broadcasters can also do the same thing as I believe TV channels can limit the viewing area which is subject to the fee paid by the viewer. Therefore you as the image owner can limit who sees your images however it is a bit harsh doing this on images already in the public domain and previously being permitted by you to be viewed on a website.

Am I wrong to believe this? If so I apologise.

But, seriously, I use the free version of "Imgur", and have no say as to who can see any pictures I post. Hopefully, the images in my posts are visible to everyone, but if not, that's certainly not my intention, and I apologize.

I love the entire world, and if I eventually have to sue for custody, I will sue for custody.
