Just to let you know that Episode 09 is in the process of being recorded (it's a themed show this time and seeing that most people seemed to enjoy the multiple interview format of Episode 08, I'm doing the same format this time) with the intention of putting it online the last weekend of April (i.e. just before Allentown and Collectormania Milton Keynes!) Look...I pay my money...And Paul puts me on the show. You paid your money last time, Wolfie, and he put you on the show, remember? That's how this is supposed to work, right?

Wish i could here it. I recently upgraded my PC to Vista and now my Sound card don't work. Any chance someone could burn the last two Podcasts onto a CD for me? ____________________ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If faced with a difficult choice/decision, Remember this - WWKD. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Never give up - NEVER surrender

I would Paul but i don't have the technology. If my pet mouse stops running round in his wheel the computor stops working. ____________________ Come, it is time for you to keep your appointment with The Wicker Man.

I'd do it too Paul but I would think postage from someone in the UK would be a lot cheaper. But if no one else offers, I will. By the way, does your new system have on-board sound? Can you revert to that instead of your sound card? Or do you have an iPod or any other device that plays MP3's? All you need to do is transfer the MP3 file to that and then you could play it from there, sans PC. Harris

All i know is that My PC had perfect sound under XP untill I installed Vista. Now it's mute. Speaking to someone from the Manufaturer via e-mail we have established that the sound card is not compatible with Vista. Naturally the pC is just past it's 12 month warrenty and although the PC was advertised as Vista ready, clearly it wasn't. I can't even revert back to XP because this manufacturer doesn't supply the discs with the package so I cannot delete Vista and re-install XP. Vista deleted all XP files upon installation. When will I learn, if it aint broke, don't upgrade it. ____________________ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If faced with a difficult choice/decision, Remember this - WWKD. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Never give up - NEVER surrender

Paul No problem! One thing you might want to try - do a search on Google for your soundcard and "Vista Driver" - it's entirely possible that there is a compatable third party driver out there that might get you out of the problems you're having. There have been so many cases of "Vista Ready" computers turning out not to actually BE "Vista Ready" that there is a growing number of people taking matters into their own hands and putting together drivers that do work to some degree, so it's definately worth looking around! Au Res., Paul (resolutely avoiding Vista) ____________________ Sometimes, one pack is not enough... http://www.paulbines.co.uk http://cardboardworld.blogspot.com/ http://www.cardcast.co.uk/ Twitter: @ukcardcast
