Erik, Batman, thanks for the comments!

I'm having some problems with my website hosting at the moment (hence the red cross where my avatar should be!) so the RSS feed is not accessible, but I am working on moving everything over to Google Pages and things should be working again soon.

UPDATE: I am still having problems with my original webspace, so iTunes (and a number of other podcast directories) cannot now see CardCast - episodes can still be downloaded or streamed from the revised cardcast.co.uk website or, if you have an RSS reader, you can access the RSS feed HERE

I am in the process of getting iTunes and the other podcast directories pointing to the new feed URL, and hopefully this will be done by the time the next episode is ready (which will probably now be after Memorabilia!)
Au Res.,
Paul

OK, so the problems with my original server have continued, so I have now resubmitted the podcast to iTunes under the new name "UK CardCast 2" - this is only until Apple gets around to deleting the old version that points to the old server.
All new episodes will be posted to the new "UK CardCast 2" show, which should now also be trackable (giving me the opportunity to see roughly how many people actually listen!)
So, if you are an iTunes user and have subscribed to "UK CardCast" please unsubscribe now and subscribe instead to "UK CardCast 2" (which is now viewable in search)!
If you use my website to access the files or the RSS Feed, that already points to "UK CardCast 2"!

The next episode will hopefully be available after the NSU Allentown show, will be looking back on that show and looking forward to Memorabilia - which means, That Man is on again! Big Grin
Au Res.,
Paul

Episode 05 - "...And We're Trading Here In Allentown" is now up, and should be on both iTunes and other podcast directories shortly - this time around, Harris talks about Allentown and looks forward to Memorabilia.

All the server problems have now been resolved - I paid out for some webspace to call my own - and the only thing left to do is tinker with the website.
Next episode - Memorabilia!
Au Res.,
Paul

I have a problem with downloading it.
It says this error:
"The specified item cannot be found or its XML is unparseable...
Feel free to report this so that we can fix the problem."

Can you help me, normally I have no problems.

There is an issue Archive.org with recently uploaded files - CardCast Episode 05 (both versions) are not the only one's having this problem, the forum has several posts about it; hopefully they will resolve this shortly (I have reported it to them!

To save Card Talk bandwidth(!) in future, could anyone having problems with the podcast drop me a line at the email address on the cardcast.co.uk website please? (ukcardcast@googlemail.com) - that email address goes straight into my inbox here at home and I can get onto it a bit quicker that way!
Au Res.,
Paul

I know, it's only been a couple of weeks since Episode 05 - but I had to do an episode about Memorabilia, and so Episode 06 is now working it's way onto the internet, kicking and screaming! It's accessible from my website now, and should be on iTunes and other podcast directories this evening.
The episode features a croaky voiced conversation with Harris, introducing and discussing various interviews I recorded at the show.
It's nearly an hour long.
I'm thinking about running a poll for the best 10 sets of 2007 - no prizes of promos on offer I'm afraid, but if you'd like to vote for your favourite sets of the year (must have been issued between January and December 2007) then please send an email to ukcardcast@googlemail.com, with the subject "Best of 2007" and giving your name and your top three. Some time in early 2008, I will tot up the votes (if any) and work out the top ten, which will be announced in a future episode!

I'm working on something rather special for the next episode...
Au Res., and thanks to everyone who listens for listening!
Paul

Just listened to the Memorabilia cardcast and i have to say well done to everyone involved for a great hour of enjoyment. Clap
It was really good to hear all the interviews and was very much like being back at the show again.
Many thanks to Paul for the kind words following my small contribution, they were very much appreciated.
My elderly parents could not understand how my voice was coming out of the computer, bless.

Looking forward to the next one allready. Wave
