An interview with a card manufacturer would be a nice addition to the podcasts in the future - not sure how difficult this is to arrange though.

Agreed - and if anyone from one of the manufacturers would like to get in touch... Smile (Seriously - I would like to try for an intervew with someone who makes cards)
Thanks for all the comments - it's all helpful to me.
Just in case anyone is interested, the podcast has now been submitted to Apple for review - once they pass it, it will be available in iTunes (for those suitable en-softwared)
Au Res.,
Paul

Todd,

It is fairly easy. Right mouse click on the Episode 01 link, then select "Save Target As".

A window will open up where you can control where the file is stored and what it is called.

Make sure you know where you write the file to. It can be hard to find it after you have saved it otherwise. I personally save new files to the Desktop so I know where they are and then move them around later....

Mike.

Thanks Mike! (It does say 'Right-Click and "Save Target" on the webpage, but doesn't mention the selecting where to save it!)

The iTunes submission issue has now been resolved, and so if you have iTunes installed, you can subscribe the the podcast HERE
It's not showing up in search yet, but give it a little time!
I am working on a new episode (probably not featuring Harris Big Grin)...
Au Res.,
Paul

Don't worry, Peter - iTunes is an 'As well as' not an 'instead of'!

I listened to it on the way in to work today. Very nice work. Harris wasn't TOO much of a dullard. It was cool to hear my name on my iPod, too.

Keep 'em coming!

Looks like it is showing up in the search now. I typed in "CardCast" and there it is. Don't confuse it with the other "CardCast" that comes up -- that one is for St. Louis CARDinals fans.

Yup - as Harris (the best interviewee heard on the podcast to date Big Grin) says, it is now in the iTunes directory - if you enter 'UK CardCast' in the search box, you should have no confusion with the other, similarly named, podcast (which I didn't realise existed!)

Having just read elsewhere that you interviewed Andy Duke, when do you anticipate the next cardcast release Paul?

I'm hoping to get a new episode (which will be concentrating on Celebration Europe) by the end of the week - I would do it now, but I'm shattered!
As long as the voice recorder I was using hasn't done something silly, I should have a short interview with Andy Duke, and also one with a member of the Norfolk and district Star Wars Club, who have produced a Star Wars themed trading card set of their own!
Au Res.,
Paul

Just to let anyone who might be interested know - Episode 02, aka "It Was 30 Years Ago, Jedi", is now available to download from cardcast.co.uk; anyone downloading from iTunes should get an update in the next 24 hours or so.
Au Res.,
