It's that time again! Episode 26 "Cats and Jacks" has just been uploaded and should be available on iTunes and other podcast services shortly - it is already available to stream from the CardCast.co.uk website.
The episode features Billy Shipley of HAppy Jack Collectibles and Marco Jansen of Catawiki - and there is an exclusive free promo offer only available to UK CardCast listeners...

Episode 27 will be available in a couple of weeks and sees the return of Kris Kersey (of SketchCollectors.com) - after that will probably be the annual Artist Special!
Au Res.,
Paul

I've managed to get another episode online - Episode 28 "No Ewoks Were Harmed..."
This one features Harris (yes, he's back!) talking about the upcoming variant issue, amongst other things...
Next one will be the San Diego show report.
Au Res.,
Paul

Episode 29 is working it's way online as I type - I uploaded it about 30 minutes ago and it can be streamed/downloaded from the CardCast website right now - iTunes and other podcast directories will take a little while longer.
Entitled "A Knight in San Diego", Episode 29 is the annual SDCC show report, this time presented by Card Talk's very own Batman, Bob Hulsart! Plus there is a very special announcement by Billy Shipley of Versicolor Productions about a new set... No Harris - he has been tempted away to rival internet radio shows... Big Grin

I am already working on the next episode, #30, which will be the annual Artist Special - I have four artists lined up to appear and I'm just working out some recording dates before getting started!
Au Res.,
Paul

I finished listening to the episode a while ago (I actually listened while walking through the grocery store). Great job Paul! Even Batman did a great job -- who would have thought? Big Grin

As I just tweeted, you guys did a lot of jokes at my expense and I'm still saying it was a good episode so there must be something there. I'm mentioned and talked about so much, I feel like I was still on the episode. You could have a drinking game for every time those guys mentioned me. You'd be drunk on the floor before the episode is over. Eek

Seriously....good job guys.

Thanks all for the comments!

Wolfie, there is a link to the Versicolor website on the links page - on the right with the manufacturers links. Not sure is there is anything about the Bettie Page set yet but I'm sure there will be soon...
Au Res.,
Paul

It's really weird seeing the name of Paul Bines on my ipod. It sits between Pallas, The Pineapple Thief, Pink Floyd, the Police and Porcupine tree. lol

Bob did a great job!

So Paul, why is it you hire this great talent to go to Comic Con on CardCast's behalf but you don't attend yourself? Wink

I could say it's because of the great talent that I don't need to...

I'm trying something new tonight - live broadcasting!
UK CardCast is set up at uStream and tonight (at 11pm UK time, 6pm EST) I will be streaming the first, non-test, episode of UK CardCast Live! The subject is, in theory, Promo cards, and I will be showing some of my collection, though we will probably cover other subjects in the course of the show.
I will be on video, and viewers can interact via the chat room by sending messages - if this probes to be a success, I may well do more in future.
This is NOT going to replace the normal podcast; it's in addition to it!
If you'd like to participate in tonight's episode (which will be recorded for streaming online), you will find it here: UK CardCast Live!
In future episodes (if there are any) I may well see if it's possible to have guests on to talk live about the trading card world!
Au Res.,
Paul
