I really don't know, Ted! It only seems to be my voice affected though, and now I have a newer computer, hopefully it won't happen again...
Thanks, Nar! If YOU ever want to appear on the podcast, LMK!
Au Res.,
Paul

Wicked! Thanks Nar!

In the meantime, UK CardCast Episode 35 "Catawiki goes Orbital" is now online from all the usual places and features interviews with the founders of Catawiki about the launch of their new .co.uk site; British "True Grit" comic book artist Christian Wildgoose and Harris Toser!

As from the next episode, Behind The Canvas will be split off into it's own feed, so if you currently subscribe to the UK CardCast feed and you want to continue to listen to BTC, you will have to subscribe to that separately. I'll post details when the new episode is going online!
If you just want to hear UK CardCast, or if you download directly from the website, this won't affect you!
Au Res.,
Paul

Another great show, well done. Clap

Kurt is a really great guy who produces a great product and really deserves the support of the collectors in the hobby.

A little known fact is that Monsterwax also has the very sought after Wolfie Seal of Approval, something which i'm sure Kurt is just overjoyed about. Big Grin

Behind The Canvas 06 is now online, and features an interview with artist Lance Sawyer.
This is the first episode to exclusively appear on the new Behind The Canvas feed, so if you listened to the first 5 episodes of the show and want to hear the next episodes, you'll have to either visit the BTC Website or subscribe on iTunes to Behind The Canvas.
Au Res.,
Paul

UK CardCast Episode 37 is now working it's way online - it features an interview with Paul Maiellaro of the Chicagoland shows. I also give a few quick plugs to artists and card companies attending SDCC and there may well be a brief mention of some appeal connected to some show in October...
It's available on the CardCast website now and should be on iTunes (and other podcast services) shortly!
Au Res.,
Paul

Howdy Paul,

I hadn't listened to either of your shows until I downloaded all of your 2011 shows for both Cardcast and Behind The Canvas to my iPod to take with me on a boating holiday on the Norfolk Broads.

I am now going to be a regular listener, good job on both shows.

After listening to Episode 36 I went to the Monster Wax website. I really like what they are doing and wouldn't have looked had it not been for your show.

Purchased a box and some promos, and received an appreciative email from Kurt this morning.

Thanks

Thanks for doing that William - the more collectors like you support the people who come onto the podcast, the more likely it is that they will come back to the podcast!

On the subject of which, Episode 38 is now online and reatures Bob Hulsart (aka Batman!) reporting on SDCC!

Just listened to the podcast with Batty.

Very good, well done to you both. Clap

Having listened to it i would not want to visit the Comic Con. If your intrest is trading cards it sounds like it would be a waste of time going there now.

Behind The Canvas Episode 07 is now online and features artist Celesta Johnston!

I'll probably be recording the next episode of UKCC soon, and the question everyone wants answered: Will Harris be on this one?

Good to hear from you Baatman - I hope everything is OK with you and the ward, and that the Batcave wasn't inundated by the recent weather related dastardlyness...

If anyone is having problems with the new episode in iTunes (and a few people hav reported problems), I have submited to Apple. Apparently, in iTunes, the episodes is cutting off at 50m 04s (it is actually 1h 06m 39m long) The actual file downloaded by iTunes is the full and correct length and, if you persevere, you can get iTunes to play past the 50 minute mark, but something has apparently gone wrong and I'm checking it out.

Paul

As Chris Bradberry has mentioned elsewhere on Card Talk, I will be at the Philly Show; I am hoping to record Episode 40 of UKCC there! To this end, if you are exhibiting at the show and would not object to being recorded, please let me know!
In the meantime, Episode 39 is being edited, and the next episode of Behind The Canvas has been recorded for release in early October (before I jet off into the wide blue yonder!)
Au Res.,
Paul

Episode 39 should be online as I type this (iTunes and other podcast services may take a little longer)! It sees the return of Harris Toser to the stage, talking about Philly, the recent and upcoming issues of NSU, Philly, The Roxanne Toser auctions, Philly, Memorabilia and did I mention Philly? Big Grin
