Former First Lady Barbara Bush has passed away, age 92.

Verne Troyer, actor in the Austin Powers movies and elsewhere, has died of unannounced causes.

I somehow missed that TV character actor Tim O'Connor (1950s through 1990s) died earlier this month.



And that Debbie Lee Carrington, a little person who played under costumes as well as being a prostitute in Total Recall, died in March.

Margot Kidder has passed at age 69.

Long time character actor Joseph Campanella has died, age 93.

Alan Bean, the fourth man to walk on the moon, has died at age 86.

But 98 is a great age. What most of us could wish for.

Chef and writer Anthony Bourdain has killed himself.

Teddy Johnson died June 6th aged 97. He may not be widely known to American audiences but during the 1950's and 1960's he was well known to UK audiences as a light entertainer with his wife Pearl Carr. They appeared in various UK trade sets including Kane Products Ltd and A & BC.

I believe Pearl Carr is still living at the retirement home where she and Teddy lived, She was born in 1920.

Elvis Presley's drummer, D. J. Fontana, has died.

I always figured that non-sports is a big enough tent to include sports announcers. One of the greats, John Ward (who called play by play for the University of Tennessee), has died, age 88.

Actress Deanna Lund has died, age 81.



And Pantera's drummer, Vinnie Paul, has also passed away.

Ellison wrote what I think was the best of the original Star Trek episodes, City on the Edge of Forever; and the best of the Twilight Zone revival episodes, Paladin of the Lost Hour.
