I am now a proud owner of Gary's first Card King book which arrived safely today.

Many thanks Gary and keep up the good work.

regards

John

Jess

I'm sure it will be and I am looking forward to reading it. As I mentioned to Gary yesterday, a quick glimpse through the images in the book shortly after it arrived reminded me of cards I never knew existed yet alone having seen. Gum cards as American Cards were known as in the 60's & 70's in my collecting world were only available as issued by A & BC Gum whose issues were mainly Soccer and Pop Star cards. Unlike you guys we did not have local card or comic shops and had to rely on the corner shop newsagents selling confectionery that contained cards. We could also collect tea cards, the packets of which were generally available in the high street shops.

regards

John
