I asked Harris the very same question and he said in his words "Sure, pictures are totally fine"

Is a list of individual items preferred over just 'advertising' a website?
How to get contents of said website into one post, I guess people don't mind scrollers Wink

As for postage, well for me that's going to have to be an 'email for info' thing as it wildly varies depending on the item, it's weight and its destination.

We'll see if I remember to come back here Sept 19th. I'm likely to forget :|

Cool

Yeah, we do prefer the list of items, rather then advertising a website. The intent here is to sell cards -- sets, singles, inserts, boxes, etc.; And for collectors to sell their extras.

Thanks. Hope you remember to give it a try next weekend, Star. Put it on your calendar! Smile

Harris

Could you give us an example Garage sale, to show us the protocol required, or am I being over-cautious?

Hi Steve:

This first one really is a bit of an experiment so just give it a try. List the items you have for sale along with their prices, how someone can pay you (PayPal, check, etc.). You may choose to list your address or ask buyers to e-mail you for that. You can list the items line-by-line, or with pictures/scans and prices underneath, or a mix of the two. How much you want to list is up to you -- you could just list an item or two, or go nuts and list a ton of them (please remember that the ads will be deleted after the weekend though).

The way I would envision it is simply a list of items, perhaps listed alphabetically by set title with their prices and all the ordering instructions at the bottom. Hopefully, some will get more creative then this and do something "out of the box" creatively, with lots of images.

Thanks. Let me know if you have more questions.

No, it was just an FYI about the Garage Sale, mainly meant for those who don't visit Card Talk often.

Not sure why yours was blank though.... Confused

Yes, you may change it. That's fine. Just take a look at the first post to familiarize yourself with the rules as well as the Guidelines and Rules for Card Talk Sellers post in the advertiser's forum.

Thanks.

Can we put "best offer" - or must it be a set price?
