Wow! what a super deal, but I'm still try to get my life and my family life back together after almost clean the whole city (Hurricane Ike). You don’t know how powerful this storm is if you wasn't in.

Starts at midnight in the time zone where you reside...meaning, it technically starts now. The hitch being I haven't set up the forum yet for the masses who will be posting (great big expectation here!!!). I'm going to do that now and it should be done shortly so if anyone wants to give it a try in just a while...

OK, we *should* be good to go now. The settings for the various forum permissions are a mess so something might still need updated. If anyone has trouble, please e-mail me right away so I can get it fixed.

Thanks.

I just noticed that the rules state that a listing is limited to 500 lines. But, Harris, you said that we could go wild! Smile

I just remembered that mailing parcels and other mail outside of USA to International areas requires a form and you need to write down what it is and how much it is. Would it still be okay for people outside the USA to agree to this?

Hi Sky Pilot:

Which part are you having trouble with? Posting in the Garage Sale section is basically the same as posting anywhere else. Just go to the retailer advertiser's forum or use this link. Once your there, click on "New" and "Discussion" (again, just like you did when you posted here) and type out your Garage Sale post. You might find it helpful to write up your post in a word processor program and cut-and-paste.

If you have other questions about posting your garage sale post, please post here again and we'll be happy to answer to answer further questions.

Harris,

Thank you again to you and NSU for holding this event. I for one really appreciate it.

My sale did well, and I hope NSU will consider doing this again sometime.

Thanks.

Mike.

Thank you everyone who participated in this weekend's NSU Card Talk Garage Sale Weekend. By my calculation, we had 80 posts by 53 members, which is more then I expected, so I'm really happy about the way this went.

I will be soliciting feedback from some of you via e-mail shortly.

I have archived all of the posts and will keep them for just a little while -- just in case someone needs their post or information contained therein; Or decides to become a regular NSU Card Talk retailer forum advertiser (hint hint Big Grin). So if any of these describe you, please let me know soon as I only plan to keep the archived posts briefly.

Thanks again.

I thought the idea of a garage sale was to make some money.

I sold nothing and spent a fortune. Big Grin

I sold a few things, but I spent more, although I thoroughly enjoyed it. It will be interesting to see how Harris proceeds from here. Wavey

Thanks Harris! I bought some stuff I was after for a while (a Tess Fowler Hellboy sketch in particular) and traded a lot of my other stuff. It certainly helped organising my spares too. Smile

Edit: Actually, it would be very useful if I could get a copy of my original post as it is a good list of all my spares.

I sold a few things and purchase a card(was try for two but someone beat me to it).
It was a good time. I checked into cardtalk a lot more to see what people were putting out there.
