I'm glad it is useful to you. Do you really think you are the only promo collector in the whole NZ?? There's got to be at least one more. Smile

I have been to the annual show held in various regions over a number of years plus some smaller ones wich are now getting more popular here and have never met another promo card only collector .
I have met collectors who dabble in them but nothing big .As there are very few available here I normally have to buy them through E Bay .My main interest is Inkworks Think I only need one or two to complete the lot mainly the Godzilla and in Star Wars the Yoda one too expensive for me but I have been known to splurge out.
Until Inkworks went out of buisness I had to pay big money for some of their promo cards in the early days .
Sometimes Promoking comes up with something That Inkworks issued or was out the back door stuff Wich I wish I could afford but I am getting older and meaner.

Looking on ebay now, I see the Dark Force # 2 comic and the Original Man # 0 gold version, both bagged with cards. Not sure if that helps.

I keep a list, but alas, my collection is much smaller.

Todd, I have the Darkforce card somewhere and will scan it. I looked for it the other day but couldn't find it - might be with the comic in another box.

Here's a Castle Seasons 3 & 4 P1 (Crytozoic, 2013). Allender's site lists it as a DVD insert while the Promo Card Encyclopedia website has not confirmed the source. I got this card from a 3-card promo pack which also contains a header card promoting Castle Seasons 3 & 4c and a Castle CCG in particular. It shows the Castle Seasons 3 & 4 P1 on the front. There's also a Castle CCG card - appears to be the same CCG in every pack and is also shown on the front of the header.

The seller told me the pack was sent to some dealers but had no other details. I'm wondering if it was something given out on National Hobby Day. Cryptozoic was giving out oddball promo packs on that day back then. Anyway, I still don't know where the pack came from.

That Castle promo definitely came in the DVDs back in late 2013. I checked and Tommy C posted about it in the New Promo section back then

Just the P1 alone or did the DVD come with the cello-pack?

That Visions of Freedom set is rare. I've seen it only once. I bought it from a dealer 25 years ago at a small show in San Jose. I don't know where he got it.

I sold it maybe 5-10 years later - should have kept that one as I didn't sell it for much ($10?).

Hi Todd,

While playing on your site, I see you have Booksmith cards 153-156 as "Image Needed." You actually have three of them already. The unnumbered Ursula Heigi was supposed to be #153. The unnumbered Nick Hornby was supposed to be #154. The unnumbered Tama Janowitz was supposed to be #155 and the unnumbered W.S. Piero was supposed to be #156. No cards were ever printed with those numbers.

To avoid confusion and for the purpose of PCE, it's probably better to group them as you have them, keeping all the unnumbered cards together.

I noticed you are missing images of the unnumbered Nick Hornby card. I have that one and will get around to scanning that for you. I will also be scanning other ones not shown on the site.

I also see you have images of some cards I don't have and haven't seen before - cool to see.

I noticed there are more Mike Hoffman promos than I have seen before. I've seen the "man, woman, and spaceship" card before but just once. It has no title nor other text so you really have to recognize the artwork to know what you're looking at. There are a few other promos like that. The Darkforce card comes to mind.
