I was at Comic-Con that year but didn't see it available. I overlooked it somehow - so much to be distracted by every hour there.

Thanks, Bill. I really appreciate you helping me with the image. Unfortunately, I am technologically challenged when it comes to these things !

There are several different sets of these Earth Tribe cards, released between 1999 and 2002 which PCE lists. Up until 2021, I was missing 1 of the cards above. It was a very long road for me to find the last one which I needed.

After buying a nearly complete set about 20 years ago, I managed to track down the author of the book/comic on the internet, to ask if he still had the cards. He searched but came up with nothing.

Then in 2011, a Card Talk member who posted here only once or twice contacted me and said that she was the daughter of the artist who did the cards. She informed me that her father had passed away and that she had 1 set for herself, but unfortunately no extras. She even sent me images of them.

It took me another 10 years to find the last card, Jennifer Sheldon, which is Promo # 4 in the scan above.

Here's a card I don't have and have never seen in person. I was sent this image to post here. The card by Cult Stuff promotes a stage show version of "War of the Worlds" and may be an extremely limited, unofficially released prototype. Perhaps as few as two are known to exist and this image may be of the same one that appeared for sale on Ebay in 2014-2015.

As far as i can remember this test card is the only copy that survived. before the proper P1 promos went to be printed the set was cancelled probably due to some dispute between Cult Stuff and Jeff Wayne and all material destroyed.

Due to a right place at the right time moment i have the test card.

Wolfie, are you saying that there are 2 versions of this promo ? I definitely saw one on ebay about a decade ago. Pretty sure that this is that one.

Another fellow promo collector told me that he, too, saw this card but that he doesn't have one.

What are the differences ?

The card i have is the one that is pictured here. It is the test card for the P1 promo. As far as i am aware it is the only copy.

The actual P1's were never printed as the whole project was scrapped.

I think they were never released - just circulated within the company. An ex-employee might still have that and other promos/prototypes.
