Whilst on the subject of Billy Drago, UK (and other Region 2) people might be interested to learn tht one of his films, "Phoenix" a SciFi film also starring Brad Douriff (Grima Wormtongue in LOTR TTT and also seen in Star Trek Voyager) is currently being given away on DVD with a DVD magazine - I'm not entirely sure which, but you'll recognise it if yo usee it on the newagent's shelves!

What's the (tentative) "final" count on variations (with and w/o the middle inital) as of now?

I think we may have stopped counting. Big Grin

There are about 80 variations listed on Jeff Allender's site.

Someone should go back through the thread and post an updated version of our list to see how we are doing.

Reading back through the thread again, makes me wish that someone somewhere had kept a record of what was on the cards before they were all separated and put into packs.

And like Quaint1 said in an earlier post, I know which card will be getting my vote for best chase card in the Gummies - the first year I vote. Big Grin Though I'm not sure if you can specify the one card from the set?

Gummies-

When is the voting and how can we vote? Wasn't there a special card for the voters in the past? I don't know I'm new, and I'm still a vegetable Drool

Patience, my young Padewan (is that how you spell it???) November/December issue (last one of the year) I think (though if I'm wrong I will be jumped on and fingers waggled at me in mocking amusement)

I *think* there's an award for the best chase set: if enough people put Drago on the form somewhere I think Harris might get the message. I think Drago deserves an award, if only as compensation for the RSI he'll have suffered signing nearly every card differently!

There is a Billy Drago auto on Ebay that is currently at $72. Who thought that card would go for this much before the set was released?

There are a few collectors that apparently want all the variations. More power to them...

This one fell under my radar. I've been searching for Drago. I think with Drago in the title, this may have gone even higher??!!

Kevin, did yours have a special inscription, or the standard, "Yours in Fear"? Those are definately available for 15-20 It's the original, or somewhat original sigs that are bringing a premium.

I want a Billy Drago card, but (even bearing in mind the uniqueness of the inscriptions) the card is one of the more common autos in the set, so I dowouldn't want to pay TOO much for one! $15 sounds like a great price - I'd have snapped one up myself for that!

I thought I had already posted this one, but I did not see it in the thread! Here's what's on my Billy Drago auto card:

She would hide the knife under her dress

Signed: Billy Drago

This might help in figuring out some of the "stories" mentionned previously!

I'll be e-mailing Jeff A. so that it can be added to his page along with the rest.
