check your email. Bear in mind the hobby boxes don't come sealed. There are 24 boxes in a case that they say does come sealed.

the Dr who boxes were not sealed either. Topps should get their act together

yes previously today i had a chat with the distributor and asked them to mention it to topps that selling unsealed hobby boxes can open a right can of worms and something i wouldn't normally do [so reduces their sales] except to people i trust like my regulars who know me. One's rep is the most important thing in the card biz and you really don't want to put it as risk for a few quid.So i won't be selling the boxes on the auction sites etc because they are unsealed so not worth the potential hassle but regulars from nsu is ok. There is a perforation at the top that if you open the front slip to get at the packets should pop open but its hardly foolproof.

The box I have in front of me states:
there are 10 packs of ten cards in every box and there are five memorabilia cards :

Cade Yeager 1 : 50 packs
Shane Dyson 1 : 50 packs
Tessa Yeager 1 : 100 packs
Optimus Prime Truck Panel 1 : 7 packs
Optimus Prime Rear Tail Light Panel 1 : 150 packs.

It also states that packets that include the truck panel parts will contain no other cards and packets that include the rear tail light panel will include 1-2 cards. so it looks like there will always be a truck panel card in each box. The cards are "Trading cards" and not Game cards. There are 170 cards to collect.

on the back of the hobby packs they say 10 cards per pack including 1 rainbow foil card which made me assume they were the same cards as 170 is the same number for both. i haven't opened any of the hobby ones and won't know for sure till weekend

Just had an e-mail from Topps UK regarding the collector cards, I asked about buying direct from the Topps web-site

"Unfortunately we are unable to supply the requested collection direct as we do not hold any stock.
This collection has only been released within specialised Hobby-Stores"

Specialised hobby stores . Would love to find one of those in the UK .

They are going to be in Forbidden Planet etc I suppose, they might be in WH smiths but I have not seen them.

You are right about Forbidden Planet but Topps describing them as a specialist hobby store is like describing Tesco as a specialist butcher .

I got 10 packs and got 2 of the costume/relic cards.

Optimus Prime (7463/8070) and Wahlberg t-shirt (0692/1195).

9 rainbow foil cards - the number range from 152 - 170. The pack with the Optimus Prime card didn't have any other cards.

At £5 a pack I can't see Smiths selling them. I opened 1 pack and it was base cards + 1 rainbow - Gutted if you paid a fiver for that.

yes one of my customers opened a couple of packs from his hobby box and he got a costume and the cards are movie cards and the rainbows are a proper chase set. Going to be a nightmare set to get.

if you get a retail box of the game cards you basically get a base set [i did] so only need the rares.
