What's the deal with Jeffrey Wright (Felix)? Is he reluctant to sign autographs? I'd love to add him to my collection. I love the Brosnan card, by the way. Probably the best looking Full Bleed Bond auto yet!

I inquired about Jeffrey Wright and Eva Green a long time ago and was told that they both refused to sign. I can only hope that some day they will reconsider because they are both awesome and it would really make my Casino Royale collection feel more complete.

I just don't understand why some actors would not want to sign. Probably because they don't truly understand what trading cards can mean to fans, and they just look at it as some autograph dealer wanting to make a buck off their signatures. Who knows. But hey Rittenhouse got us Brosnan so who knows what the future holds!

Some actors simply refuse to sign anything. They think its an invasion of their privacy to be asked for an autograph. And its not always the biggest stars that take that attitude either, Jeffrey Wright being one example of someone who is never going to be mobbed by an adoring crowd. Wink

I already contact an actress to signed in a TV show since she refused on the first place with the manufacturer and she was still not interested even been a fan of her due of her bad experience with the show. So sometimes it's really about a personnal problem related to the job Frown

So apparently, we can add to the list of new signers:

(Does that mean we now have the entire main cast of Living Daylights - except Timothy Dalton, of course!)

Hope with all these tip-offs, there'll still be some surprises to come.

Also seen the release has been shifted to mid- May - which in my case is a good thing as I'll have more time to save up/hopefully fill in some of the gaps I still have in my autograph collection.

I think you would have to also say Art Malik as the other main cast member who has not signed for Rittenhouse.

Does anyone know what the theme of this release is? I don't know what Misson Logs encompasses?

Well well well, over on the RA boards Steve has been very generous with the names he has secured for the Mission Logs set and some which will be holdovers for the inevitable 50th Anniversary set next year.

Personally, I don't mind when any particular card comes out. RA is very communicative about their signers and we will get them at one point or another, so in the meantime I'll enjoy anticipating and seeing the series grow. The full-bleeds are a teaser for 40th collectors and vice versa.

Based on the fact that ALL actors from the Dangerous Liaisons set onwards have signed the 40th style cards (with the exception of Guy Hamilton who is 'crew'), these are what we can deduce/have been told will be appearing at some point:

Full Bleed autos from Bond Archives yet to be released as 40th style:
A? - Eunice Gayson - Sylvia Trench - Dr. No

Full Bleed autos from Bond Heroes & Villains yet to be released as 40th style:
A? - Jill St. John - Tiffany Case - Diamonds Are Forever
A? - Gloria Hendry - Rosie Carver - Live And Let Die
A? - Daniel Craig - James Bond - Casino Royale
A? - Gemma Arterton - Agent Fields - Quantum of Solace

Autos announced for James Bond Mission Logs/50th Anniversary yet to be released as 40th style:
A? - Martine Beswick - Zora - From Russia With Love
A? - Tricia Muller - Sydney - Goldfinger
A? - Luciana Paluzzi - Fiona Volpe - Thunderball
A? - Francisca Tu - Osato’s Secretary - You Only Live Twice
A? - Catherina Von Schell - Nancy - On Her Majesty’s Secret Service
A? - Joie Vejjajiva - Cha - The Man With The Golden Gun
A? - Edward de Souza - Sheikh Hosein - The Spy Who Loved Me
A? - Marilyn Galsworthy - Stromberg’s Assistant - The Spy Who Loved Me
A? - Valerie Leon - Hotel Receptionist - The Spy Who Loved Me
A? - Anne Lonnberg - Museum Guide - Moonraker
A? - Fiona Fullerton - Pola Ivanova - A View To A Kill
A? - David Yip - Chuck Lee - A View To A Kill
A? - Mary Stavin - Kimberley Jones - A View To A Kill
A? - Daniel Benzali - W.G. Howe - A View To A Kill
A? - Jereon Krabbe - General Georgi Koskov - The Living Daylights
A? - Andreas Wisniewski - Necros - The Living Daylights
A? - Kate Rabett - Liz - The Living Daylights
A? - Anthony Zerbe - Milton Crest - Licence To Kill
A? - Pierce Brosnan - James Bond - GoldenEye
A? - Ricky Jay - Henry Gupta - Tomorrow Never Dies
A? - Geoffrey Palmer - Admiral Roebuck - Tomorrow Never Dies
A? - Al Matthews - USAF Master Sergeant - Tomorrow Never Dies
A? - Ulrich Thomsen - Davidov - The World Is Not Enough
A? - Toby Stephens - Gustav Graves - Die Another Day
A? - Michael Madsen - Damien Falco - Die Another Day
A? - Anatole Taubman - Elvis - Quantum of Solace

All in all, that is another 31 cards to look forward to for the 40th series. Add that to the 149 cars already released and we're up to a whopping 180 for this collection!!! When RA first got the Bond licence I would never have thought they would/could keep it going for so long and they have done an admirable job of securing a mixture of big and obscure names that span the breadth of the series.

...and when 50th Anniversay comes out we'll be treated to even more! I'd wager 40th versions of Craig and Brosnan will grace that set but I wonder if RA have any other BIG surprises for this monumental set.

No you're not going mad, she was announced and a blurry photo was shown from a US convention but she was held back for future release.

Hi,
Can anybody give a definate rundown of what we know is in this set?, or are we still awaiting confirmation. I read on the rittenhouse site, that announced signers does not always mean for the next set, but could be for next year also.

Also, for the confirmed cards, do we know numbers of Brosnan and Craig autos for the set? How many Craig's were in heroes&villains? I heard a figure of 200, which is not bad at all, but prices seem very high based on what I have seen for aftermarket cards.

Thanks!

Great to see that the Brosnan films are finally getting some costume cards - assuming they are not too limited!

I am looking forward to the the Vintage Bond VB6 to finish off that chase set and with it being a case card it will be easy to source. I fell maybe it doesn't offer the best value as a case card though. Sure its a nice card, but after all the props, autos, and costume case toppers, one b&w chase card seems a bit 'inkworks' if you know what I mean. No big deal but I guess RA has spoiled us over the years.

The 3-case Aston Martin wing sounds another great card and go very well with the windshield prop from Archives.

Good to see the 9-case card is not a regular card per se, more of a card for copletests.
