drofdarbWheel of Time Playing Cards
Although not strictly trading cards, this recently released set of playing cards based on Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series is excellent.
I recently got mine in the post and am very impressed, they are selling a few different options, I got the double set.

When you consider each card has original art made for it, I can understand the costs involved.
Still, a bit expensive unless you're a big fan.
I liked the art on the Wheel of Time CCG from several years back too. Those were nice cards.

drofdarbI am actually working on the CCG set right now.. there sure are a lot of cards for that one.
Does anyone know how to play a CCG? I have no idea, really just trying to collect one of every card.

Scifi CardsActually, the CCG isn't as bad as most. There was only the base set, 2 expansion sets, and a premium set made.
I played the game extensively, and even rep'd the game for Precedence. Good game, though the dice aspect gets a little out of hand when you get to the end. But the dice also put in a nice bit of luck to go along with strong deck building.
