Although not strictly trading cards, this recently released set of playing cards based on Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series is excellent. I recently got mine in the post and am very impressed, they are selling a few different options, I got the double set. https://taverentees.com/thread...ath=7&products_id=84

These look really nice but $48 for 2 packs of playing cards has my head spinning. ____________________ Come, it is time for you to keep your appointment with The Wicker Man.

When you consider each card has original art made for it, I can understand the costs involved. Still, a bit expensive unless you're a big fan. I liked the art on the Wheel of Time CCG from several years back too. Those were nice cards. I am actually working on the CCG set right now.. there sure are a lot of cards for that one. Does anyone know how to play a CCG? I have no idea, really just trying to collect one of every card.

Actually, the CCG isn't as bad as most. There was only the base set, 2 expansion sets, and a premium set made. I played the game extensively, and even rep'd the game for Precedence. Good game, though the dice aspect gets a little out of hand when you get to the end. But the dice also put in a nice bit of luck to go along with strong deck building.
