Nice. . . but . . . wait a minute! You still have Suncoast by you? All the ones here closed years ago. . . One of the retail places you could find cards.

I saw a group of loose packs of Sorcerer's Stone listed for sale and, since they were pretty rare, and I wanted one of the foil wrappers, I ordered them...11 packs @ $1.50 each. Here's what I got:

Stories like these is what keeps me interested in buying packs to assemble a set. Unexpected surprises. These premium packs with a guaranteed something or another just don't do it for me. I enjoy pursuing a base set and getting an occasional bonus!

My best pack pull was Number 02/05 Platinum Eric Carr Drumhead card from a KISS 360 bonus box I purchased at Target. Only place around here I can buy loose packs anymore.

Batman - looks like the cards are in your favor with all your fantastic pulls! Congrats.

I just sat and stared at it. I couldn't belive it. I thought, at best, I might get an autograph or one of the chase cards, because they're hard to identify in a packet. I was just trying to get something to add to my base set. But, I never thought I'd get a prop card, not to mention one that lists in the NSU catalog for $250. Beginners luck.

As you can imagine, it's one of my top 3 favorite cards and a favorite variant, as well. Good old Harry. Such a sweet child. LOL

Picked up a (1) pack of Quotable Star Trek (Not excatly sure of the set's whole name Confused)

Pulled an auto Big Grin

I don't watch this show/ know anything about this set so I don't know if this card's a 'good' pull or not?

But either way not bad for £2.99 Thumb Up

The Quotable Star Trek Movie Trading Cards

According to their color coding, it's in the second most rare tier.

Since that's a very limited card I'd say it's a fantastic pull!

Picked up 4 packs of Beverly Hills 90210 (Topps/1991)

Already the base cards (but 'replaced' them with 'newer' ones from packs) and got 4 stickers (1:1 ratio): #2 Clap (x2), #7, #8.

I was happy beacuse I only need Stickers #2 and #5 to complete the set.

Now hunting out #5 Thumb Up

Picked up 4 packs of Mallrats (Comic Images/1995):

This set is literally only a base set (that I know of) but I it's one of my favourite movies (Plus Shannen Doherty's one of my favourite actresses) so I'm happy to collect it.

The correlation was excellent: 24/90 card base set - NO duplicates! Metal

Can't wait to complete this set Razz

Nicely designed set too.

Picked up 4 packs of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Hobby version):

Still collecting the base set so I was really happy to pull all but 1 of the base cards I needed and also got chse card M4 Sheep

I know this is a nortoriously hard set to collect so to pull any chase from 4 random packs was cool.

Plus I Luv You the base cards!

Picked up 4 packs of Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Men of Sunnydale (Inkworks/2005) in the hope of getting nearer to completing my base set.

About 1/4 of the base cards pulled were ones I needed so I was very happy about that.

The best pack was the 1st because it took forever to open but when I finally peeled back the foil I pulled:

Marc Blucas (Riley Finn) A-2 autograph card! Elephant Dance Bouncey

Very happy - 2nd Buffy auto for this set - Both pulled from random packs (1st was Tom Lenk (Andrew Wells) A-7 auto). Big Grin
