1 box Angel Season 4 - ELIZA DUSHKU auto redemption!!

Dushku auto has been on my want list for quite a while! Redemption is on its way to Inkworks! This just goes to show that you never know what might be lurking in those loose packs and older boxes.

Here it is!!

Received it not too long after I sent in the redemption. Sorry for the long delay in uploading the pic. My PC is not compatible with my digital camera. But better late than never! Keep diggin' into those old loose packs & boxes.

I'm sure if you tell the manager that you will buy some he will get some.

Not true. I know of lots of comic book shops that will only pre-order cards with a deposit.

I know of one shop that if they get a box they will not let you buy packs only the whole box.

Right, I know that my comic store used to only order boxes for customers -- not just the store. I asked him to get a box of Buffy WOS in. He kept it in the store and the packs sold within a week!

Now he has boxes coming in every week.
This week he just got a box of LOST S2 in Big Grin.... I think its time to pick some packs up Big Grin

That's a system a shop in my neighbourhood also use. But I don't buy there, the price is more then the double of what I pay on Ebay or whit my US-Dealer (including p&p).

Visited the local shop today, still no SW 30th but they had Benchwarmer Gold Edition and Wizard of Oz 2 So I bought 14 packs of BW and 6 of Oz.

Pulled an interesting sketch by Kyle Babbit, it appears to have actually been painted, it is rough and raised texture to the touch.

Benchwarmers yielded 1 kiss card of Mary Riley, an autograph of Nicole Bennett and an unsigned autograph card of Cecille Gahr.

Bought 5 loose packs of Buffy 10th Anniversary - I'm more an Angel man myself, not really a Buffy guy, so it was mainly as I was desperate for new packs to open (it's been months since my last fix, yet the next 3 months - am gonna be swamped).

Got a PW1 Buffy's leather jacket. V.pleased - seems to be selling for more than the spend on the packs themselves, so it'll be added to my trade list. Smile

Have now got the pictures to go with the finds.

Found a sci-fi shop - bought some cards:

12 packs of Lost season 2 - finished off my base set made completely from loose packs & got 3 "?" cards I didn't have. Smile

14 packs of Lost Revelations - again, finished off base set from loose packs & got 4 "Inside the island cards" (2 left now) & a "Black & White" card I didn't have. Smile

They also had 7 packs of Complete James Bond, so I bought those and:

Honor Blackman Elephant Dance

They also had one pack of Revenge of the Sith, so I thought "He Who Dares" and this time it paid off in spades:

Mike Lilly - Yoda Dance Dance Dance

Elephant Elephant Elephant

These have to be my best pulls from loose packs and I'm particularly happy with the Yoda sketch from buying 1 pack (I kid you not).

You could call me 'Mr Well-Chuffed' . Wink

Thanks everyone. I was over the moon when I pulled the Yoda sketch on my holiday.

I found the lone pack under the Complete James Bond box, I had to reach up to the shelf that higher than my eye level (I'm 5ft 11). I pulled the box down to get what was left in there & this single pack fell off with it (goodness knows how long it had been on the shelf) and I thought 'Why not?'.
I went for a coffee with the family about half hour later and, as this was the only lone pack, I opened it in there. I was looking at the base set cards when the on third card in I noticed the word 'Congratulations'. Not comprehending what it was at first I turned it round & couldn't believe my eyes.

Thereafter... 'Well-Chuffed'! Cool

I was in Jackson, MS today and found the last 1/3 of a box of Buffy 10th and decided to take my chances. Out of the 8 packs I got foil 3 and PW-13 Purse worn by Ashanti.
Not bad!

Am I missing something. Are there more then 1 version of this card?

Well, to me, it is a variant. She has another pw for the Big Bad set and even though the costume was featured, her purse was left out.

I know it's not technically a true variant but to me, it kind of is.

Sorry for any confusion.
