I keep writing to Kurt Kuersteiner about the series 2 of LOST IN SPACE but I NEVER GOT A REPLY. I know he was having some printing problems but that was quite a while ago and I haven't heard anything since.
I emailed him a few years ago and never got a reply. Maybe he can't keep up with it all if he's getting a lot every day. Maybe my email arrived at a bad time. I was just commenting about his Monster Card Museum so maybe he had nothing to add.

There were some printing issues which resulted in some cards needing to be reprinted. In fact, I just received notice that the LIS Series 2 just started shipping earlier this week. BTW - Kurt is a stand-up guy and (in my experience) has always very responsive.

Hey Guys, I confess, I have been ignoring emails the last week or so because I'm in the thick of shipping and want to focus on actually packing rather than emailing. My family is out of town for three weeks so I can totally dive into postal issues instead of carpooling and running family errands.
Yes, this series took months longer than intended. The biggest reason is because we returned the first printing and made the printers completely redo them all-- and although they reprinted to our satisfaction, they made us wait by putting us a the very back of the line. It was worth the wait though, as the difference in quality is dramatic.
That being said, there seems to be some confusion about which series is running late. The first series was published a couple of years ago, and is completely up to date. This new series (Series 2, The Initial Adventures) was not scheduled for last summer. It was intended to be shipped earlier THIS year, but is only now going out the door.
Although I USUALLY answer every email (unless it goes to spam, which unfortunately, a few do), I'm deliberately avoiding my computer some to stay better focused on getting everything out the door. These next three weeks are the best uninterrupted time I get to spend on this, so please understand why I prioritize it all on actual shipping.
Everyone who pledged (more than just a pack or promo) and included their email in their backer survey should get an automatic email with the USPS tracking number when it goes out, so watch for that.
I'll go back to my usual computer indulgent ways after July 22nd, but for now, I need to get back to mailing. Thanks for your support! This message has been edited. Last edited by: monsterwax,
