With NSU no longer being published, I was wondering if there is or will be an outlet for companies to distribute some of their promo cards.

Will companies like Rittenhouse or Cryptozoic simply stop producing the promo cards that, in the past, were given out with NSU.

Companies such as Rittenhouse, Inkwors, RRparks, and others give out free promos at card shows (Happy that the Philly Non Sport Show is still going), or thy have put out offers for free promo cards on their websites, and social media posts (but for these promos, you need to actively seek them out and send a S.A.S.E to get the card)

When "The Wrapper" sends you a reminder to renew your subscription, Les slips in a few cards in the envelope (samples from old sets and recent promos). Other than that, there really isn't another magazine that includes cards with its issues.

"Star Wars Insider" magazine used to have Star Wars promos sealed with them but it's been years since that was done.

I would guess that various card companies would cut back a little on promos since they don't have that additional way to give them out. Some sets that might have had a P1 and a P2 might just have a P1 from now on.

One thing companies could do, and I've seen it done in the past with some sports issues, is simply release promo's as "inserts" in other sets.

Just an example, but release promo's for UD Batman the Animated series (due out 2nd quarter of 2026) in boxes of Fleer Ultra Superman (due out in 1st quarter of 2026).
