The one that got away. So I went on a movie binge because Netflix is getting ready to pull the "Scream" original trilogy and I hadn't seen them in a long time. As I watched 1 - 3, I was floored by how much of the young cast I didn't fully remember and their connection to certified autographed trading cards.

To my knowledge there has never been a card product on the "Scream" movies, but almost every actor of note in those films has done signed cards for some set. So here is my list of all 7 movies, including the last 2 that I have yet to watch. I lost interest after 5 but may catch up before 8 comes out. Some actors appeared in more than one installment and there may also be additional actors who are popular now, but I just don't know them by sight.

Scream: Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, David Arquette, Jamie Kennedy, Rose McGowan, Matthew Lillard, Skeet Ulrich, Liev Schreiber, Henry Winkler and Drew Barrymore.

Scream 2: Timothy Olyphant, Jada Pinkett Smith, Omar Epps, Heather Graham, Rebecca Gayheart, Joshua Jackson, Jerry O'Connell, Laurie Metcalf, David Warner, Luke Wilson, Tori Spelling and Sarah Michelle Geller.

Scream 3: Patrick Dempsey, Lance Henrikson, Jenny McCarthy, Parker Posey, Patrick Warburton, Kevin Smith and Carrie Fisher.

Scream 4: Anna Paquin, Kristen Bell, Alison Brie, Hayden Panettiere. Emma Roberts, Anthony Anderson and Mary McDonnell.

Scream 5: Melissa Barrera, Jack Quaid, Mickey Madison and Jenna Ortega.

Scream 6: Delmont Mulroney and Samara Weaving.

Scream 7: Anna Camp, Joel McHale and Mark Consuelos.

A licensed "Scream" card set would have an awesome autograph checklist and be well received I think, but I guess no one wants to try it. Anyway, the closest you can get is some Hollywood Horror sketch cards with sticker autographs of Laurie Metcalf, Matthew Lillard, Skeet Ulrich and Ghost Face. However almost all of them can be found as signers in various years of Pop Century or other specific TV titles.

I'm going to assume the license is crazy expensive. Would love to see Fright-Rags do a Scream set.

I'd love to see RA do it. Can you imagine all those actors signing on-card autographs? Most of them have done stickers already, so I would think there are enough that are at least approachable for a deal. But these are 7, soon to be 8, separate films so who knows who negotiates the rights and how much it would cost. RA managed to do it for the Bond movies is all I can say.

Might be a little tricky to get autographs from Carrie Fisher or David Warner these days (and Barrera and Ortega might not want to sign given their early exits) but sure, "Scream" is one of many untapped franchise properties with a huge cast to draw from where autographs are concerned. I'd definitely get a few boxes of it, and probably pick up some singles.

From that list, I have
Jamie Kennedy (Ghost Whisperer)
Rose McGowan (Americana)
Henry Winkler (Happy Days)
Kevin Smith (Clerks)
Live Schreiber (Wolverine)
Heather Graham & David Warner (Twin Peaks)
Parker Posey (Parks & Rec)
Patrick Warburton (Family Guy)
Anthony Anderson (Psych)
Anna Paquin & Anna Camp (True Blood)

So a decent little stack without trying, but there's others from the cast list I'd love to have. There'd be no better signed card than a "Scream" card for several of those names: Campbell, Ulrich, Lillard, Arquette, and Kennedy, certainly.

Imagine "The Movies of Stephen King" or "The Simpsons Guest Appearances" with, say, 150+ autographs in each.

I believe the voice of Ghostface (Roger L. Jackson) has autos in a Leaf set(s).
