Thanks, Todd. That's a great idea. Some cards and sets warrant a little more explanation. For some others, the value has been up and down and maybe back up again.

Great topic, Todd, because I've been thinking about this one. A couple of weeks ago, I saw two sellers trying to sell that Star Wars Widevision 3-card promo pack as the Pepsi pack and wanting too much for it. None of the promos (SWP1, SWP2, SWP3) in that pack are rare/valuable. Back then, in early '95 I couldn't find SWP2 locally but had no trouble trading for it later.
I think Pepsi learned a lesson with the Dinocardz and other cards slipped into 12-packs a couple of years earlier. Leaking soda often ruined the cards so they probably decided a mailaway was better.
I got mine a few years after the promotion. I don't remember trading/paying a lot for it but it might have been as much as $50.
Yeah, it's hard to say how rare they are - certainly not common. I think the value peaked around $100 as noted in PCE2008 but then it seemed all the Star Wars completists had one (or the 2008 recession encouraged many less gung-ho collectors to sell) and I was seeing them go for more like $35-50 by 10 years ago. I haven't checked on the value more recently - didn't see any sales from the past 3 months.

I hadn't heard of Monsters HD, but apparently it was a like the Criterion Channel, but for horror films and it was on the air for about 5 years, being shut down in 2009. There are now at least 2 platforms, Shudder & Screambox, that have the same idea with channels running continuous programming, but also featuring modern day streaming ability. We have Shudder and love it.
Those cards are amazing.

I remember that one as an easy-to-get pack in the late 90's to early 2000's. It was interesting to collectors because the cards were early examples of unmarked prototypes distinguishable from the regular base cards. I think I found it locally for a couple of bucks. PCE2008 has the singles at a buck each and you could still find a sealed pack for around $3-4 at that time.
I see sellers wanting more than double for it now, but if you're patient, it's the kind of thing you might find cheap as part of a lot or maybe at a flea market/show.

It's not tough to locate. I wanted to do something with Disney, so it was this and Minnie and Me sets. This one as visually more interesting. The Minnie and Me ones are so subtle in differences, but these are pretty blatant.
