Ever since the early 2000's certified autograph cards have become the big hit and expensive driver of non-sport card products. However its been just in the last few years that we have been treated to a real expansion in terms of the number of celebrities who are now appearing on certified cards. Not just minor names and not just TV stars, but in high-demand major movie stars.

If I had to guess, I would attribute a lot of it to the ease of stickers, the increased fees, and the pre-and-post pandemic surge that brought a lot of money into hobby collections. Whether we like them or not, Leaf/Pop Century in particular has been bringing out signatures from people we would not have expected to see. So my question is, who are you looking for that still has never signed on a certified card from a recognized card product? Cut signatures do not count and it can only be living persons obviously. Here are 5 from me in no order, and if they do have any certified cards, please let me know where.

Meryl Streep
Jenna Ortega
Natasha Lyonne
Tom Cruise
Bruce Willis

Who else is missing so far?

Of the 6 James Bond actors, Timothy Dalton has never signed any cards. The late Sean Connery had the cut signature in the last Rittenhouse Bond set.

I think just picking on any actor is a bit unfair (in spite of Pop Century) but looking at where there should have been a card set is more honest. Pop Century seems to be following the convention/private signings these days.

Milla Jovovich

How a Resident Evil set never got made is a card manufacturing mystery.

Nick Cage
Mel Gibson...MAD MAX....no set....ARE YOU SERIOUS?
Morgan Freeman
Keanu Reeves....No John Wick?????
Ralph Fiennes.....just sign a Bond card ya loser!! At least your ex wife and brother are cool enough to sign!
Jeff Goldblum, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Gwyneth Paltrow....all from MARVEL

Eva Green has never signed cards and she was a Bond star. She and Timothy Dalton were both in "Penny Dreadful" and neither would sign for the set. With those two its not just a dislike of Bond, they have refused all card makers so far.

I'm kinda surprised that between all the Pop Century and Americana sets that Mr. T and Cindy Crawford have never signed anything. Maybe they aren't interested. David Spade would also be cool.

There are a ton of people who haven't signed in several categories:

Musicians
Politicians
Comedians

Probably about half the cast of The Office has never signed with the rest showing up in Pop Century.

Nobody from M*A*S*H ever signed any cards as far as I know. Alan Alda, Loretta Swit, Jamie Farr, Mike Farrell, and Gary Burghoff are still alive. Swit and Farr have both signed for GalaxyCon.

Maggie Lawson was the lone holdout from the cast of Psych, not signing for two different Cryptozoic sets. She's also signed for GalaxyCon.

Likewise, Stana Katic didn't sign for either of the Cryptozoic sets for Castle. And she claims her auto cards from Inkworks The Spirit set aren't her signature.

Tory Belleci signed for Zerocool's Jackass set but nobody else from Mythbusters has signed.

Loretta Swit has a nice on-card autograph from the short-lived Panini Golden Age line which had three annual sets about 10 years ago.

As for Stana Katic's bizarre assertion, there is simply no way on earth Inkworks would fake an autograph, particularly from someone who wasn't even very famous at the time. They got real autographs from Sam Jackson for "The Spirit", but couldn't get a pre-Castle Stana Katic to sign a couple of sheets of stickers?
Yeah, suuuuuuuure.

And they said Helena Bonham Carter had problems fitting her signature on a trading card. Wink

I know there is speculation to whether Rami Malek or Ana de Armas will sign for the next Bond release. Still a chance Ralph!!

Still, not to sound like an ungrateful child, between the manufacturers (in particular Rittenhouse) I believe Bond has been covered for us collectors about as good as it could be. Which to say is damned impressive.

I had no idea that card exists, thanks for letting me know. I'll keep an eye out for one.

Yeah, suuuuuuuure.

That's what I think, too. She probably forgot she signed the sticker sheets and assumed the cards weren't authentic. But who knows. Over at Blowout there were folks comparing the signature on the Spirit cards to authenticated signed photos and wondering if they were the same signer.

Stana Katic believed her own publicity, which is why the only reason we have had to mention her name since the quick demise of "Castle" is to talk about her Inkworks' sticker. For the record I think she signed it, but it's barely an autograph and in little demand now anyway, so it hardly matters.

Nathan Fillion has been doing another TV show for many years and she's doing voice work. That kind of settles their argument. Wink

Yeah I felt sorry for that guy who posted the card in a sea of zombie Stana worshipers all claiming they know what her autograph looks like because they got it 5 minutes ago. Either she had someone else sign for Inkworks or she did it and forgot she signed pages of stickers early in her career. I think the latter but either is on her.

I'd love a Julie Andrews. I have a signed book, but a card would be awesome to go with my Dick Van Dyke.

Has Kristin Scott Thomas ever signed any card? I know her sister Serena did for Buffy and another set somewhere.

We never got Madonna on a Bond card either. The chances were less than 0% on that. Not that she was particularly good in Bond, but hey, we got Lulu on a card Big Grin and a couple of other opening credits singers too. I would have loved a Shirley Bassey Bond card...which I don't think ever happened and probably won't ever.

Sheena Easton...Nancy Sinatra signed for Elvis and Playboy cards.

Kristen never signed and Serena also signed a Bond card.
