This is going to be a 5 issue comic series and each issue is going to have 1 cover bagged with a card (the rest don't have cards).

So there will be 5 cards total to collect !

Issue # 2 with a new card came out this week.

I get my comics thru Diamond Previews, so I have to order them a couple of months in advance. For whatever reason, the last couple of issues, #3 and #4, weren't solicited in the "bagged with card" versions. I don't even remember them offering it with #2, or else I think I would've ordered it. I did get #1, and here's the card that came with that:

There is an issue # 2 bagged with a card as well, which came out a few weeks ago.

Issue # 3 with the card is coming Dec 11, and the bagged versions of # 4 and 5 will be after that.

My local comic store was able to order all of them through Diamond

Issue # 4 with the card is coming Jan 22.

Issue # 5 with the card in Feb.

#5 with card is available to pre-order from the regular Diamond Previews catalog, but the previous issues (other than #1) apparently were only offered in the dealer version. I wonder why that was the case. Anyway, those middle issues are widely available and inexpensive, but I'm just going to stick with the #1 I already have.

The 3 cards so far are The Toxic Avenger, Pluto and Radiation Rangers. To complicate matters, the cards are unnumbered.

Issue # 4 with the card has been released.

The fifth comic with the card came out in Feb

Much to my surprise, I learned the other day that there was a SIXTH card for this

It wasn't inserted in the comics, but was given to people who attended a recent Comicspro event

Looks like the other 5, but has a different image. Also from Ahoy Comics.

There is a brand new "Toxic Avenger Pin Up Special" comic which was released May 14, that comes with a new trading card.

This is the 7th card that I am aware of.

The back of the card indicates that it's a tribute to the early 90's Marvel series so it's not really connected to the Ahoy Comics cards.

I went to a comic shop yesterday to see what it had. The issues had sold out but the clerk told me that they had only a few issues outside of whatever customers ordered. I'll try another shop tomorrow.

No, that is not the one.

The first five comics came with the following cards in the bagged versions:

(1) Toxic Avenger
(2) Radiation Rangers
(3) Pluto
(4) Yvonne
(5) Absolute Toxie


The new Toxic Avenger Pin Up special came with a Toxic Avenger card, similar to the first card above but a slightly different image.

At the Comicspro event in early 2025, there was a card of some character called "Desmond Dreamday". I haven't seen any surface on ebay, but I was able to get one from a comic store.

I will try to scan and post the image.

Thanks for posting this, John.

The Desmond card (guy in the bottom row reading the comic) is the one card that was NOT inserted in the comics and is very hard to find. By sheer luck, I just came across it.
