I bid on an item then 4 days before the auction ended a couple of days later i was informed that the item had ended because the item was no longer available.
Four days later the item was relisted with no explanation with me as the highest bidder. How come i became the highest bidder on a relisted item ?
I now no longer want the item and have notified the seller that but no reply and bid is still winning
If I win and just not pay would a did not pay complaint really effect my E Bay rating wich I really dont care about as E Bay shipping costs have ended 99% of my international purchasing anyway

You can retract your bid if there is more than 24 hours left. Go to help and type "retract bid"

Something must of worked as item has finished with no takers .And I have not had it added to my purchased items list.

LOL spoke too soon it has just been added to my purchase list as sold to me
Guess what they will be waiting for their money i will take the non payment hit dont care
This lot has been a hassle I dont think the seller knows what is what or what they are doing.
And complaining to E Bay just leads you round in circles with the rigmarole you have to go through.

I would still contact Ebay unless you want the item. By saying nothing, you are saying nothing weird happened. I have had maybe three disputes in the past 15-20 years and won all of them because they were easy-to-see kinds of situations. I think Ebay would understand your situation. An item disappearing and reappearing would make most potential buyers wary. That's probably why no one else bid.
