This is one of my favorite holograms. To sell or not to sell. The new green hornet movie is coming out soon, as we all know. Should I sale it or not sale it. I don't sell my cards for a prophet, but has anyone sold a card just because it's popular.

Sure looks like promo 1H from Now Comics.

Thats cool the way you took the pix and got the colors to display... You have to hold it a certain way to do it.

I need the Kato promo from this little set of 4 if anyone has a spare (hint hint...)

Yes they came in different issues of Green Hornet comics. Todd Jordan has them listed in his excellent PCE reference book with specifics. You should get yourself a copy

If anyone needs to know of a non-ebay site to get them at pretty cheap (as low as $0.96 for the comic still bagged with the card!) just let me know. I can also list for you the 4 books for the different promos if you need them.

I just ran across this old thread. There are three lenticulars and one hologram in the set. I had two of the cards for years and then found sealed comics with the other two earlier this year. The comics weren't as cheap as Jake could get them but they were still part of a pretty good deal (the 3 comics for an average of about $3 each and then another 20% off because I bought 3). I got a Mr. T comic that had a Mr. T card I didn't have.

I scanned the 1H hologram I have. The colors didn't come out as in the image by the original poster but you can see the front and back.

Here are the other three promos in the set, 2H, 3H, and 4H. The 2H and 3H cards are called "hologravure," which is a printing process that creates the 3D illusion of the subject floating within the image while also remaining stationary. I think that means you don't get that shift that makes the subject appear to move. The 4H card is a 3D card. This one miscut along the top edge so the card is more of a trapezoid than a rectangle.
