The artist has launched a Kickstarter for her card set. I noticed that it says that besides the promo which was available in November, there was a second promo distributed by RRP Parks.

The most recent "Pearl" finish promo looks fantastic. Please get 1-2 if you can, they look so much better in person

3.00 each promo...is that really a promo card if you're means of distribution is to sell them?

There hasn't been a truly pure promo card since 1993.
Yeah, I just made that one up.

But you know what I'm getting at. You could make a decent case to disqualify a fair number of those cards listed in the Promo Card database if you really examined means and motives. Then everyone could argue over the blurry lines and solve nothing.

Sacrasm! I do that often. Yes there are many cards I wouldn't call promotional (or product premium) even though they clearly are marked as such. I document them anyhow and make a note.

I think she said somewhere that of these 5 new promos that 50 of each were made, but some folks have already pledged towards the rewards for the card sets that include the promos, so that's why the numbers are down to 45 and 15.
