The 83rd Philly Non-Sports Card Show will take place on October 25th & 26th at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, Hall E.
Guest artists at the show include Jason Crosby, Sam Barugh, Ted Dastick Jr., and Mike Ritchey. Each will have a great display of their artwork, items for sale, and will be on-hand to speak with collectors.
We've started posting about promo cards both on our Facebook page and on the
show website. Thus far, we've shown off 'Sleazy Sam', with artwork done by Sam Barugh and the P2 promo card for Todd Jordan's Promo Card Encyclopedia. We'll also have have a Wacky Packages promo card painted by Neil Camera, (concept by Peter Zies) and more to be announced soon.
We'll have three of our usual Philly Show Red Border to be included in promo packs while supplies last. This time, there will be a twist - random promo packs will contain metal versions of the red border cards.
As has been the case for recent shows, collectors at the show on Sunday at 1:00 PM will also receive an exclusive metal promo card.
On Saturday night, we'll host a dinner at the Hilton Garden Inn. The guest speaker will be media guest Gary Gerani. Gary will be discussing the final book on his career in trading cards, The Card King Chronicles Vol. 5: The New Century. Collectors attending the dinner will receive an exclusive promo card. As always, we will have lots of vendors selling everything from vintage cards to the latest series. The show is open on Saturday 10/25 from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and Sunday 10/26 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Tickets are available at the door for $12 per day, or $20 for a two day pass.
