What was the third autograph in your second box? It looks like it was a good one too with hand claps and all...

Broke a box today- here are my results-

Box # 4156

One full base set
19 extras
WOST Expansion- Ilia, Valeris, Lursa/B'Etor, Borg Queen
T1- Kirk
T9- Rand
Posters: Wrath of Khan, The Voyage Home
A83- Alan Ruck as Capt John Harriman
A86-Larry Anderson as Tarlac Officer
A103- Peggy Miley as Regent Cuzar

Not a great break on my part since I got none of the autos I really wanted, but the Ruck is a good auto to have. I will definitely break a few more boxes, but probably not to the extent I broke Women of Trek boxes.

Ruck is a good auto, since he co-starred in the iconic Ferris Bueller's Day Off! I met him once, he was really nice.... Thumb Up

I do like the Ruck- he has a great signature.

I still want my TNG crew autographs though- Burton, Dorn, Frakes, Spiner, McFadden, Dwight Schultz- of course all VLs- aargh!

I also want a Cattrall...if I don't pull her soon, I will definitely eBay her.

Shake Head

Overall, these are the chase and hits -

11 base sets + extras
Bridge Crew Transitions – 2 sets (+6 extras)
Women of Trek Expansion – 5 sets (+3 extras)
Posters – 2 sets (+4 extras)
22 / 23 common autos (+6 duplicates)
5/6 limited autos (+1 duplicate)
0/7 very limited autos
2/9 Crew Patches
1/1 Case Topper #758/775

It works out that I'm down 2 autos from the last box, plus one #49 card to make up a base set. It was very disappointing, to say the least, that I didn't get any very limited autographs in the entire case. Rittenhouse shall be contacted!

On the plus side, I will say that the cards are all very pretty - I love the design. I particularly like the movie poster cards - I'm assuming that #11 in the set will be the rewards card.

Well at least you got a Cattrall and 2 patch cards. It could be worse.

The problem seems to be that there are not many desirable signers in this set beyond the Ls and VLs and the very limiteds are tough to come by. Trekkies may appreciate it as more to go after, but just fishing for a big hit could be very disappointing.

I agree.

I've just sent Rittenhouse Customer Services my email and have genuinely apologised for it sounding so whiney - the quality of these cards is fantastic. Well worth the money - 'cause I am a Trek fan and will keep 90% of what I've pulled. I'm just irked that my last box didn't yield it's full promise of 3 autos. I know that that's a complete exception to the rule - I've only ever had one problem with Rittenhouse products before and they were ace about sorting that.

Another box break:

Box #2159

One full base set
19 extras
WOST Expansion- Saavik, Dr. Gillian Taylor, Lily Sloane, Anij
T5- Uhura
Posters: The Motion Picture, Nemesis
A80- Marcy Lafferty as Chief DiFalco
A83- Paul Kent as Lt. Cmdr. Beach
A98- Michael Horton as Lt. Daniels (L)

Not a bad break, though I still am looking for the 6 VLs I want, the Cattrall, etc.

I did get shorted one of the transitions cards though, which is better than being shorted an auto or something.

Val

I am surprised more people aren't opening these, but I got another box today.

Box 3163:

One full base set
19 extras
WOST Expansion- Lt. Ilia, Lursa and B'Etor, Borg Queen, Lily Sloane
T4- Scotty, T6- Sulu
Posters: The Final Frontier, Insurrection
Autos in this order-

A78- Brian Thompson as Klingon Helmsman
A77- Glenn Morshower as Enterprise-B Navigations Officer

At this point I am worried, I had pulled both of these from pack purchases when the product came out and I didn't want to strike out and get a third repeat autograph.

then-

A59- Kim Cattrall as Lt. Valeris (L) Elephant

Thank goodness, I'd been wanting this card since the set came out and now she is mine. Smile

Now I need to work on getting a good McFadden auto (as well as LeVar Burton's)

T1- Kirk
T8- Chapel
Posters: The Wrath of Khan, The Voyage Home
A79 Marnie McPhail as Lt. Eiger

Not the greatest breaks with the duplicates although I did need a Meyer and I also lucked out and got a good VL card, though I already have the McFadden in my collection. I am probably gonna keep this McFadden too though.
