Got my long awaited box a couple of days ago, here's what was inside:
Base set missing 9 cards (17 extras)
This is unusual for Rittenhouse products, back many years ago, it was a basic, unspoken guarantee that a box would render a full base set. I am guessing that many of us will not get a full set out of these so we will have to trade among ourselves to finish off the base. That said, the base cards are nice looking on gray 80's style cardboard with a classy design.
Also:
1 Gold Parallel 70/82
2 Memorable Duos Cards
2 Opening Cards (9 card puzzle)
2 Quotable Cheers
2 Norm Cards
1 Character Card C9 Lilith Sternin
1 Wardrobe Card CR13 Shelly Long's Sweater
2 Autographs - now let me say my most wanted auto was Bebe Neuwirth, with Kelsey Grammar second.
Bebe Neuwirth as Lilith SCARCE
Gail O'Grady as Laura Walton Very Limited

Both autos are full bleed. I like the Gail O'Grady too, she only appeared in one episode of Cheers but has been in tons of shows. The Bebe was the best pull I've had in a long time. Despite the lack of a full set, this was a good box and a beautiful set.

Excellent Bebe pull.
I remember that years ago, Inkworks were the only company to guarantee a full base set. The newer collectors don't know they're born Big Grin

Back in the day RA used to guarantee a base set - even got it printed on sell sheets - but as the box price gets more expensive this has disappeared.
