Unless Waterhouse has changed his signature a whole lot since LOTR Masterpices, it's not a match.

Anyone else have any thoughts on who drew my Greedo? Confused

It is a Waterhouse. He has a few different signature versions.

Big H??
Let's see, it could be Christine Hewett, or Colin Higgins, or Garrick Hagon, or ... Harrison?

Well, my 2 cases finally arrived in far off Australia.

I haven't counted up the red/blue/puzzle/box topper, but there seemed to be the correct number as I opened the packs. No gold (didn't ever manage one with LOTRM either).

Case 1: 4 sketch / 4 auto
Autos were disappointing, not only all low end, I got repeats - 2 x Blake, 2 x LeParmentier. However, the sketches more than made up for it (sorry about the scan sizes).

I am a bit confused about the first one. It looks like Cat's signature, but the card looks like watercolour (I think) and I am used to Cat doing pencils. Others are straighforward - Duursema Leia, one of Kevin's stormtrooper cels and Grant's Vader.

Case 2: 5 autos (Tippett, Higgins, DeAragon, Ralston, LeParmentier), nothing special but at least they were different. Only 2 sketches and 1 box had neither.

I don't think I'll be buying any more boxes, too much hit and miss. However, the sketches are great and all the artists have done an excellent job. I think my favourite is Kevin's stormtrooper but there's a lot to like in this set and it is fun to open.

By the way, someone earlier was asking about a Greedo sketch, I also think it's Waterhouse. He has a couple of different signature styles.

LUZDAVE:

Great case !!! Thumb Up

It broke almost just like mine. Just change the sketches & autos, but they are about the same.

MULTIPLE CASE BREAKS:

I've been tracking how cases have been breaking locally from some dealers with feedback from customers and one group currently breaking over 100 cases. Eek

The Leia & Vader Auto combo-case has now surfaced at least (3) times in California, USA. The best advice anyone can give is to finish that case with a Leia or Vader. The odds seem better than average based on Topps collation. One reported case with (2) Leias.

From what I've seen or been reported to me, the boxes on early cases/boxes in the Bay Area seem to be heavier on autographs than sketches. As such, the major autographs (Fisher, Daniels, Prowse, & Mayhew)odds appear much better. The stated odds are 1:17 cases for either a Leia or C3P0, but from my LIMITED assessment of local breaks, it's been about 1:6 so far. That is pretty high considering every case has not been broken and feedback always provided. Vader's & Prowse follow suit.

The instance of bad boxes with NO autos/sketches are much less than the instances of multiple autos and/or sketch. 1 Bad : for 3 Good. Red & Blue Foils have been pretty consistent at stated odds.

Gold cards: Seem to be as stated. You get 0,1,2 which is consistent with 1:12 boxes with the occasional 3.

Sketches: Randomized.

The only thing that is clearly noticeable is that autos outnumber sketches significantly. A FREAK case with (2) Leia's needs to have a FREAK case of 8 common autos (more than 1).

While this does not help anyone with their LUCK of the DRAW, there should be cases out there with more sketches than autos in an area or perhaps the later produced boxes? Fodder for thought.
