[QUOTE]Originally posted by catskilleagle: Promoking, I just noticed that another 1993 Marvel Masterpieces sell sheet sold for $149.99 on August 26. That beats the one you saw and that's now the most I've ever seen a sell sheet go for. I recently sold a Pokémon TOPPS Chrome 2000 trading card sell sheet for $350.00. That may be the highest someone has paid for a sell sheet. ____________________

Early in the thread on promo card prices, there was a side discussion of sell sheets. Here's a link to that. It's interesting because Promoking mentions increased interest already WAY back in 2019. https://nonsportupdate.infopop...453/m/1527040196/p/1

Wow! That is so fascinating and an amazing sale price for a sell sheet. I know Pokémon is very popular but that is crazy! My sales of Marvel related sell sheets have been holding steady in the $100-$200 range this year.

I DO NOT ACTIVLY COLLECT SELL SHEETS BUT WAS GIVEN A PILE OF THEM FROM THE CARD SELLER IN MY AREA ABOUT 1999 . THE RAREST ONE AMONG THEM IS THE MARVEL 1996 MASTERPIECES I THINK, SOME OF THEM ARE QUITE SNAZZY LOOKING THERE ARE ABOUT 100 NON SPORTS AND 50 SPORTS AS I NEVER SELL NOTHING I STILL HAVE THEM STASHED AWAY , DONT THINK THAT THERE IS ANYTHING VALUABLE AMONGST THEM .

If you have a 1996 Marvel Masterpieces sell sheet from Skybox, hang onto it, it’s a rare sheet and pretty valuable

Zane, I emailed you a pic of the BIOSPHERE sell sheet last week. Did you receive it?

Hi Albert, I just checked my spam account and found your email in there. I guess we need to communicate more often so it will be in my inbox instead, ha! I’ll try to get pics posted tomorrow for you.

Thanks Zane! I'm starting to really appreciate the scarcity and beauty of some sell sheets. They're also much harder to keep in tip-top shape because they're made of paper, except for a very few I've run across, like this Biosphere which is thicker. I think condition, is going to be a huge factor in pricing them. Just a few combined little imperfections can really affect the visual appeal of an 8 1/2 x 11 printed sheet. ____________________

I was the buyer of that one. Interestingly I see the seller sold 2 already, and has another one active, all the same exact sheet. So that took me by surprise for such a relatively rare sheet you don’t see much. I guess it’s possible the seller came into a stash of them, but hard to say whats going on there. Holding the sheet in hand it appears legit and agrees with similar 93MM sheets I have (see below). As for the most expensive sell sheet…I sold a 96 Masterpieces sell sheet for $500 a few years ago on ebay. It’s quite rare but you do see them in a blue moon. If we are including full dealer kits in the discussion, as a buyer I actually had one surpass even that 96MM one, by quite a bit too. A *very* rare dealer promo kit for 1992 Marvel Masterpieces- I don’t think 92MM even had an official sell sheet, it had these promotional pages instead. This is the most I ever paid for a dealer kit/sell sheet item and Ive basically never seen it almost anywhere, unlike some other 90s dealer kits which are easier to find. As to the 93MM sheet. I’m basically trying to “piece together” a 93MM dealer kit. (Without the folder- Ive never seen an actual 93MM folder and doubt it exists, it would probably be a generic skybox/marvel folder like the above 92 one. Here is what I’ve got so far. Whether it’s compete, who knows, whether these even were issued together, who knows. But this is my improvised “dealer kit”. (The checklist page at left is just the back of the 2nd page in, just a dup). Here are the 3 sheets: These are distinct- the only differnce between the first 2 sheets is in that little box it says “Hobby Retail Fact Sheet” vs just “Fact Sheet”. Which is odd since 93MM didnt even have a retail release. My assumption is these are probably the whole set of the sheets but just don’t really know. ____________________ Marvel card collector 90s to present
