chesspiecefaceSo long, H.R Giger, master of the painted nightmare
Illustrator H.R. Giger, perhaps best known for his work designing the original "Alien" for the classic 1979 Ridley Scott film, has passed away at 74 from injuries suffered in a fall.
http://www.hollywoodreporter.c...hr-giger-dies-703558 His influential vision will live on in pop culture and the art world alike.
Heaven gets a new paint job today, and I don't think everyone there is going to like it.

RavenGiger was a weird dude alright, but he was one of a kind to be sure. Not following the art world so much, I don't know how influential he was in recent years, but any Alien fan appreciates his work just from those designs. RIP Mr. Giger.
