I missed the boat at the beginning with star wars 30th but finally decided to see what I could put together.

I got four different common auto's, Hewett, LeParamentier, De Aragon and Blake all for a total of $25 (Thats including shipping)

I also got a base set for $6 (also includes the shipping)

In addition to the Heroes items I won earlier tonight, I just won the Heroes Hiro Nakamura jacket costume card for $13.02 (£6.66) plus $3.50 postage (£1.79 UK money.) It's been a successful bidding night for me this evening!

This week I received the Hugo Weaving auto from Lord of the Rings : Fellowship of the Rings for a price I was willing to pay. I now have all the autos from FOTR except the Merry one. Since I have his from TTT, I'm calling it a day on FOTR.

I also received 5 Xena Season 2 (Topps) autos - Danielle Cormack (Ephiny), Robert Trebor (Salmoneus), Michael Hurst (Iolaus), Hudson Leick (Callisto) and Kevin Smith (Ares). $174 shipped total. Now waiting for the Alexandra Tydings (Aphrodite) and Bruce Campbell (Autolycus) autos- $70 shipped.

I won the bid for the Jesse Metcalfe autograph card from Inkworks Smallville season 3, for £5.10 + £1 P&P.

I've never watched Smallville, but I love Desperate Housewives and at £6.10 I couldn't resist!

Ditto for me, but also the Legolas, leaving me only short the Merry too. Patience will have to be rewarded for that one, TTT Requiem Cloak, and the ROTK PJ auto.

There have been quite a few of the FOTR scarce cards showing up from several sellers. I've been looking to see whether deals were going to occur on a boxful of FOTR-1 base sets, since that's the series that's keeping me from enticing friends into the hobby by offering them a complete collection of LOTR base cards.

Wow Jim, that one goes pretty far toward the top of the list! I note that I _would_ have found the auction if I had been doing one of my periodic trawling for missing cards from older sets. And I wouldn't have recognized it was you bidding (then) from your UserID.

If the auction had closed a day or two later, you might have had a bit more competition!
