I believe there is a sheet inside the box that every recipiant has to sign.
But as I have never seen the Mystery box I cannot confirm this.

wow, I remember when Box B was started. It wasn't all that long ago! It'll be interesting to see just how many stops these things make!

I don't know about that, I don't consider myself of being in a circle (I am gone for periods of time) and I don't trade that much, but I did receive it. That's something to think about Big Grin

Well, if there is a circle, I would guess that I am in it, yet I have not seen any of the boxes either. So its not about the "circle" or "Clique" but about the individuals who receive the box. If someone gets it, they will more than likely send it to someone they know or have traded with, thats how these things work. If they havent traded with you, or dont really know you, then you probably wont see it from them. I know exactly who I would send the box to however, depending on what was actually in there. That person is someone I know has not received it but might be considered in the "clique" simnply because of their "prominence" on the board. And I am sure complaints would arise because of it, but thats ok, people complain about me already anyway.

I know how it works mtlhddoc2,thats what i said in my post, and you said in your's ,the person who gets it will send it to there buddy before they send it to somebody they traded with, but for me,it gets old, when for over a year you hear everybody else getting the box,and then you see who hasn't,and go oh well they will get it before i ever do,if at all,and if the other box was still around(which the person who would not send it along, should have offered to have somebody send them postage for it)most of the people woild get both boxes before some of us even get any of them once,i know im a whin box,but thats what i think, brandocles

Let me throw my 2 cents in as the guy who started The Mystery Box.

I have a list of the 25 people who got box B. In seems that the senders are trying to send the box to a far off place rather then trading buddies. The box has traveled back and forth across the United states or to another country and back.

The box is about fun. It was not designed for people to fret about. My original purpose was for the box to make it to at least 3 or 4 countries(which it has). My hope was for it to last at least 1 year(It has done this too).

But please people, do not worry about getting it or not. It is a game not something to stress over. There are roughly 250 "active" members on card talk and only 25 people have got box B in 1 year. So, the odds are 1 in 10 a year you might get The Mystery Box. So, If no one else joins cardtalk, you should get it in the next 9 years!

Money was sent but the box was never returned. Several attempts were made to get the paperwork but that has failed too.
That is why box A is dead.
