Sadly, another memorable James Bond Villain has passed away.

It was odd that the news showed his 7-UP commercial from the 70's, the one with the "UnCola", when reporting his death. I guess they think a lot more people will remember him from that ad then from the many roles he played.

Shamefully not as widely reported as Geoffrey Holder and Richard Kiel, the great Gottfried John passed away last month, one of my absolute favourite villains:
