I did not know Mr. England, but I remember Christopher Rush from some correspondence I had with him back in the early days of Magic the Gathering.
The artists were very involved with the whole project in the early stages and they accepted fan mail. Mr. Rush was kind enough to autograph a couple of his MtG cards for me. His artwork is on a card that I do not have, probably the most well known of all Magic cards, Black Lotus.
He was very committed to his art and promoting the cards at the time. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. RIP Mr. Rush and Mr. England.
