WARNING!!! There are absolutely no spoilers here!!!

Saw this yesterday in 3D - the D being dire. If you've seen the original, it's far better than the remake. If you haven't, do so to see how it should be done. I assume that there was a lot left on the cutting room floor. This can be the only explaination as to why there is no character developement, suspense or indeed any coherent storyline. There are plot points at the beginning that are never mentioned again. The editing itself was a chainsaw mess. At the end, I was rooting for the Poltergeist.
