JessicaThat is a shame. They need a new writer/producer not a new doctor. Sigh.

RavenBut they are taking a farewell tour, probably won't see a new Doctor and show runner until 2023. Just want to build up the ratings.

Tommy CI read that Christopher Eccleston, the 9th Doctor, is now releasing Doctor Who audio adventures, after 16 years of distancing himself from the show. Guess he had a change of heart.

The good new is that Russell T Davies is returning to the role of hear writer for Doctor Who from the 60th Anniversary (2023), so after the next series of six shows there will just be a few specials on TV until then.

wuherI though Russell got stuck with the same villains over and over again towards the end of his run - to much the master and the Dale's , as for Jolie there are two many companions it takes away from the doctor

JOHN LEVITTAccording to the BBC website the 14th Doctor will be Scottish actor Ncuti Gatwa, who was born in Rwanda, is best known for starring in Netflix's sitcom Sex Education.
I must admit I was not aware of him at all.
regards
John

Me neither, but plenty of people are aware of him.
FYI It's just been announced that David Tennant and Catherine Tate are going to be involved in an anniversary special.

Hehe, maybe it will start with Donna waking up and telling the Doctor she's just had this really weird dream about him being the Timeless Child
