It was announced this morning that Mary Tamm a Dr Who companion (Romana) to Tom Baker has died from Cancer. ____________________ | ||

That's four of the Classic Doctor Who companions that have passed away in around 18 months. Two at such young ages too: Mary Tamm 62 and Elisabeth Sladen 63. Caroline Johns was a more respectable 71 and Nick Courtney achieved 81. Sad to see from one of the articles about Mary Tamm, that Angharad Rees, another British actress I remember well from a series called Poldark, passed away on July 21st aged only 63. Cancer takes too many lives too soon | |||
