Vin Diesel has another RIDDICK film coming

James Cameron said he's working on yet another TERMINATOR film, but without Arnold S. in it.

Not a movie, but it is confirmed that they are doing a TOMB RAIDER TV show with Sophie Turner playing the Lara Croft role.

The fourth MUMMY film is definitely coming May 2028

Rumors are that Tom Cruise may be working on a ninth MISSION IMPOSSIBLE film

The last one was the 12th highest grossing film of 2025, domestically, so the movies continue to slide at the box office.

The first one was # 3 of the year back in 1996.

I read that Paramount is working on more G.I.JOE films.

Hollywood just keeps recycling the same stuff over and over again. It never seems to end !

Arnold Schwarzenegger is doing a third CONAN film.

They are moving ahead with SCREAM 8.

Not a sequel or a prequel, but they are REMAKING the 1981 film "Escape from New York."

Tom Cruise has confirmed that TOP GUN 3 is in the works and he is also working on a sequel to his 1990 race car film DAYS OF THUNDER.

There is a sixth Jason Bourne film coming, but reportedly not with Matt Damon.

Also, the people who did "The Blair Witch Project" back in 1999 are remaking that one, also.

Another Planet of the Apes film is coming. Not a sequel but a reboot. Again.

There appears to be another Equalizer movie planned at some point. Denzel Washington had said he was done after Equalizer 3. Now there are reports that he will do both 4 & 5 together as directed by Antoine Fuqua, also original to the series.

The internet is getting really weird and I don't know what's real or fake news anymore. Ana de Armas is mentioned as being in the new cast. She of course just came from "Ballerina", which sort of looks like a failed attempt to create another franchise out of the "John Wick" universe. Another place has Jason Stratham involved, which I would doubt, but wouldn't mind seeing.

It started out as TV series featuring Edward Woodward in the title role. There was also a more recent TV series starring Queen Latifah in the title role. Not in the same league as the Edward Woodward original.

Yeah, the 80's show was great with Robert Lansing as his old supervisor (but not Supervisor 194). Robert Mitchum filled in one season when Woodward was sidelined with a medical issue.

I saw the first season of Queen Latifah's version and I thought it was okay but I drifted away from watching sometime during the second season.

The movies with Washington are great. I'm glad they're making another one or two.

Right, I meant the current one.

The HIGHLANDER remake starring Henry Cavill and Russell Crowe is filming as we speak.

Dave Bautista and Jeremy Irons are also in it.

Just more recycling of films. No new ideas !
