I'm sad to report that George S. Eaton aka: Mister E. passed away at his local hospital, a couple of months ago {late March}, per his niece, Chrissy. George and I used to trade cards and we were FB buddies. He loved promo cards, both old stuff and new. And even though he lived just north of me, in Massachusetts, we never met. I do not have anymore information and I can't find his obituary on line. His niece told me that it was a private service. RIP sir. ____________________ "A man has got to know his limitations."

Thank you for letting us know, Freddy. This was his last post here, from Feb 16th of this year: "I bought both mags with different covers, so if someone needs the extra promo I have, give me a holler." The guy was always thinking about others, making this especially sad news. Condolences to Chrissy, his family, friends, and fellow collectors. So long, Mister E... This message has been edited. There was a post made about this in the Chatter section back at the end of March. ____________________ "These aren't the cards you're looking for...."

When you don't see people post for a bit you always worry that people just fall away from this seemingly shrinking hobby... I wish it were for that reason in this case. Very sorry to hear this news. RIP Mister E.
