Sherman Hemsley passed away. He was best known as George Jefferson from "The Jeffersons".

I met him years ago. He was performing "The Odd Couple" in Biloxi, MS. A very nice friendly man. As a child I loved 'The Jeffersons' and 'Amen'. I am sad to hear this.
