I know why they keep making these movies. I just don't know why people keep going to see them.

They keep making them because they literally grossed 4 billion

I saw the first one in the theatre and liked it. Saw the second one in the theatre and though, "Mheh." Saw the third one on Netflix and fell asleep about a 1/4 of the way in and never went back to it. I have never made the effort to see 4.

People are still going to see them and until the billion dollar profit train ends, they will keep pumping them out.

Are there any more GI JOE films planned ? What were there, 2 of those ?

Maybe they should have GI JOE meet the Transformers, like in the 1980s comics
