We're thrilled to announce that we have completed all the designs for the Phantom of the Opera Card Set! All the incredible artwork submissions from our "Calling All Artists" social media scrum have been received. The base set is now climbing towards 100 movie/scene cards, not including inserts and bonus cards. This will be the most comprehensive Phantom of the Opera Card Set EVER produced!

Are these artists being paid?

Every selected artist will have their work showcased in the card set and enjoy special artist credits, promotional opportunities, cross-promotion, and a personal set of cards displaying their artwork. Additionally, they may be invited to join the in-house art team for ongoing projects as a regular gig!

Google "artists working for exposure".

I think some clarification is needed... This was a contest open to anyone interested in contributing or donating artwork to the project. We received an incredible 60 submissions, from which 10 pieces were selected—8 to be featured in the set and 2 reserved for a future project. It’s important to clarify that this wasn’t a call for "artists working for exposure."

We fairly compensate our in-house artists and negotiate payment with freelance artists for gig-based work.

If you are paying all of the artists whose work appears in the set, that's great, and I commend you. But since some artists are "donating artwork to the project", I get the impression that some artists are being exploited.
