I received a card in the mail that was shipped in a product I had never seen before -- turns out it's an Ultra Pro CardPreserver. I think that's all one word, I'm not sure. Anyone try these before? They seem to be kind of like a semi-rigid with a resealable flap. It sounds like the front of the product is soft, and the back is semi-rigid, which concerns me a bit for protection from marks on the front of the card, I'm not sure how often that is actually a problem. I compared to a regular Ultra Pro toploader and it seems to be the same height and width exactly. Slightly thinner and also lighter. I've been putting my nicer cards in penny sleeves, then in toploaders, then in toploader bags. If they are good these seem like they might be able to replace all three of those products with one.

Jon I've used them, slowly working on putting inserts in them for sale bins as they take up much less space than toploads. They still recommend putting the card in a sleeve, but it does eliminate the topload/semi rigid holder and team bag. They're cheaper than toploads, but not by a lot. Though you do save on a team bag. Overall I call the cost a wash, but the space savings is real. Ed ____________________ Trading Page Now Online: http://www.scifi.cards/trading.html Collecting Sketches of the Character Crystal

Thanks, Ed! Saving space and weight is worth it for me. . . I didn't realize a sleeve was still needed, that's a bummer I was hoping to save a step. Appreciate the info! Jon

I've used a few of these for my less valuable cards but still use sleeves for added peace of mind. They do save quite a bit of space, even compared to the thinnest toploader.
