Topps has a Star Wars Card Trader set scheduled for November. This is a physical set with some elements of the app. Each pack has at least one code card that can be used in the app. This is a cheaper set with an SRP of $2/pack. http://www.beckett.com/news/20...trader-trading-cards | ||

I like the idea of a $2 pack and a physical card that looks similar to the ones found with the app should be nice. However the code cards would be of no interest unless you actually used the app. Just as the facsimile signatures don't count as autograph cards. So to me these cards really only work for people who have already embraced digital reproductions and are also open to collecting traditional cards. Some may not be, some may only enjoy the gaming aspect of gathering Star Wars pictures. Sometimes trying to get the best of both worlds just leaves you not satisfying either one.
